| Philemon-sama chapter 18 . 9/2/2012
You ended this fanfiction a long time ago, but I just read it. I hope you'll read this review...
This really touched me. The story is not perfect, but somehow it made it even more awesome : because it was too much twisted, it looked like real life.
You have your own vision of the story, of the characters. The way you write looks really nice, too. I am French and did not have any difficulties to go through your fanfiction.
I ended this fanfiction quite sad. This touched me a little too much, maybe. A lot of deaths... and I was always moved when Daisuke and Satoshi argued. Loosing a friend is something horridly painful... it may be the bad point of your fanfiction... No reconciliation between the two of them. But it is personal, of course ! XD
Thank you a lot for writing this. My review is quite random, but it is because my feelings are. Please keep up the good work. I really liked this one.
| menolikey chapter 1 . 1/5/2012
So Angsty! xD well your name should'a warned me, neh?
Well, it's good though. I do like it, but I"m not that big of a fan of angst. That doesn't mean I'll stop reading because 1)I love Greek mythology so you did one solid for bringing that up in the beginning (anybody who brings up mythology deserves Kudos, methinks) and 2) I like where this story is headed. I mean, Satoshi and Krad. Weird couple cuz Klad is batshit insane and Satoshi is so introverted. One of them doesn't really care and the other one wants to care but doesn't have the chance to. That alone is intriguing to say the least. Plus if I think about it, they could make a good pair. Satoshi won't have to tell Krad what's on his mind. Plus Satoshi is a likeable character. I mean, it's understandable why he's so angsty all the time just like its understandable with Daisuke is so happy and why he rejected Satoshi (although I'm pretty sure, if I wanted a Daisuke/Satoshi pairing, I could find one in another story xD).
... I might have just peeked at the last chapter. I'm just saying .;
... but No! Satoshi dies? Pourquoi? I don't like deaths but they say that every good story has to have deaths in it. But still! No! Now I know I'm gonna cry while reading this... T.T
If you need me, I'll just be crying in a corner somewhere probably.
| xXxStarStrifexXx chapter 18 . 11/23/2011
I am in floods of tears - you are incredibly cruel. I thought everything would be ok. I absolutely NEED more of this! Please? That was amazingly well written, really interesting, a beautiul plot and the characters were brilliantly done. I thought they all kept an individual sense of who they were. The last chapter was shockingly well done and the line 'Gone to find the Gods' was just beautiful. I currently hate you for making me cry that much.
Really beautiful piece of work.
| Lady Fai chapter 1 . 11/3/2011
Oh my gosh! That made me cry..Poor, poor Satoshi. Can I give him a hug? ;;
| Black-rose-cat chapter 18 . 7/18/2011
*wipes tears* .. *breathes* ok first of all that was the most amazing DNAngel fanfic I have read! the execution of the entire story and portrayal of the characters was perfect the whole story was very believeable. I would have commented on every chapter but didnt want to seem like a stalker. I love the entire concept of the story though i must say you carried it out too well those last 3 chapter literally sank my heart, i wanted to slap Krad for thinking such thoughts and Satoshi for being so blind and not stopping Krad ;_; and and the last chapter (before epilogue) I was in tears of sadness, then joy thinking "omg omg Krad is till alive!" mentally doing a dance hoping it wouldn't be like another amazing fic I read that also reduced me to tears in the end simply for it being so believable, again though I was in tears when what Satoshi had seen was simply part of the sealing ;_; its a beautifully-amazingly-epic story despite how it ends. I think I'e just come to the comclusion, all good fanfics such as this will end in the more saddening way possible just 'cause it's that damn amazing.
Nevertheless I really enjoyed reading this! To say well done would be an understatement, but i cant find any words to explain this in any other way i'll stop rambling now
| bury me whole chapter 1 . 10/2/2010
This is superb! Totally amazing, oh and, I even printed everything out and put them in a file to read when I go out sometimes! xD This is just how amazing your story is.
It has touched all corners of my heart- okay, I'm going dramatic again! XD
Keep it up!
| ReWritten-string-of-stories chapter 10 . 8/27/2010
Rereading this story - I often do, once or twice a year. Never gets old and I wish you'd either lived long enough or that life hadn't interrupted you well enough to keep writing.
| Ryuuzaki-kun chapter 18 . 7/27/2010
ahh! This was such a beautiful story! Even though Krad is portrayed as evil and possessive of Satoshi in the manga/anime, I can totally see him going through this transformation! Every character is so well written! Daisuke and Dark was so perfectly portrayed and I saw it extremely believable for Daisuke to try an intervene in this relationship to save Satoshi.
Everything hit the right note in this fic. The comedic bits made me laugh. The sad bits realy made me cry. And the romantic bits just made me feel happy for the characters.
But now the big mystery is how Satoshi killed himself. Went through all the reviews just to search for ideas. The only two I can think up is
A. Satoshi cut his wrist and let himself bleed to death in the tub. That's what he did in the beginning after all and he only left it when Krad told him to.
B. Satoshi jumped out a window since there's been two big references to that. Dark jokes about tossing him out a window and Satoshi actually does jump out a window only to be saved by Krad's body and wings.
So many possibilities! And such a wonderfully romantic fic!
| Mortimer S chapter 18 . 12/29/2009
I cried. It was so touching, so lovely... and I now think Daisuke's a prick (*snarl* it's all his fault!). Remind me never to mess with anyone's love affair.
The beginning of your story was perfect, although I admit that the pairing SatoDai never struck me as realistic (then again, that might be because of Daisuke's feelings, not Satoshi's). I concede, however, that Satoshi did make multiple advances, jokingly or not, throughout the canon. Besides, you did well in creating the worst day of his life, and in accentuating just how terrible it was to him. I'm ecstatic that you did my favorite character justice, because I find that most other people depict him too flatly.
As for Satoshi's alter-ego, you captured Krad very well, and I appreciate your well done and slow transition from the 'homocidal blonde' to what he later became. You did an excellent job in creating the context for every event in the story, and above all, you made it believable. Plausible, probable, likely, I-can't-believe-this-didn't-happen-in-canon.
And even if Daisuke Niwa was a prejudiced jerk, he came to his senses in the end after all. You are certainly excellent at writing characters in character. That ending for Daisuke was the key. However nosy and evil he may seem, in the end, he realizes how wrong he was, gets depressed, and then tries to be optimistic. It's precisely what I hate about him, but it's canon, and so I congratulate you on managing it.
I liked the sad ending. Happy endings are sappy. They're very rarely meant to be. The ending in which "almost everyone of import is murdered/commits suicide and the ones left realize what fools they are" is by far better, if unrealistic on the other end of the scale. Shakespeare liked it, and I concur, even if I dislike Shakespeare. Satoshi may be one of my favorite characters (he even has his own fanart from me), but I'm cruel and dark enough to enjoy his death- in writing, at least. Of course, for those characters I rather dislike, my spiteful self is enthused that they continue to toil in the realm of the living, suffering regret for their idiocy. So again, I applaud your ending, and your ability to make it sufficiently depressing without killing off EVERYONE (this is how Shakespeare overdoes it, I suppose).
Ah well, I guess I've blathered on long enough. Basically, I liked it, and found no flaws, probably because it's late and I read the whole thing in one go, leaving me dazed and with a headache... but yeah. Essentially, it was awesome, and I'm too lazy to be constructive. I even feel brain dead enou-liked it enough, I mean- to favorite it. -
| katlity chapter 18 . 12/6/2009
I actually favorited this fic years ago when you were still updating it, and have only now just gotten around to reading the rest of it. It was hands-down the best fanfiction I have ever read. I especially loved the way it ended because it wasn't a stupid cliche ending but really original. It was a real privilege reading Galatea.
| Hinfallend chapter 18 . 12/4/2009
T_T Krad and Dark are gone, and Sotashi is dead...i will have to reread the fic if i want to know how he died. Cuz for the life of me, i can't figure it out. But maybe that's cuz it's 6am...;/ Anyway, awesome fanfic! It had a good plot to it and hardly any grammer mistakes. and you had long chapters, which is another thing i like. I can't wait until you put out the other fanfic. Will there be yaoi? Or just fluff? lol you certainly live up to your penname.
| HomoRightsRule chapter 11 . 12/3/2009
lmao Krad is like a little kid wanting his parents utmost attention. It's so cute!...who would have thought of using that word to describe Krad? But it really was aparently being subtle is not one of Krad's strong points in this, huh? lol
| Hinfallend chapter 5 . 12/2/2009
*cries* that was so mean of Satoshi! Poor Krad, he was just trying to talk to him T_T and now i move on to read the rest of the fanfic! *bows and continues to read*
