| EwigeStudentin chapter 12 . 9/20/2014
What a delightful story! I particularly enjoyed the ingenious details - like when she realized he must have read even footnotes in The History and was proud of him :) The situations you made her go thru were funny and endearing, tho terrifying for her. I liked how you kept him in character here - so that nothing really came out of her crush in the end but that he was generous and discreet deep inside after all. I'm also grateful for the last chapter - the final confrontation so to speak. Great job all around.

I really like this story . But the ending, even though realistic, left me for sharing.

I have to admit that I find this ending particularly unsatisfying.
Couldn't you at least have given us an epilogue depicting the future meeting?
I guess I'll just have to stop procrastinating and write my own. :-)

This is fantastic!

It was indeed written by Pascal, but I would have translated "love" by "heat" to be coherent:
"Le cœur a ses raisons que la raison ignore"

Perfect ending. It's so rare to read a satisfying ending that ties up the important questions that have kept you reading but that also, um, knows when to stop without bringing up more questions. Very nice. Good tone. Good characterizations. Thanks for that delightful story!
