I absolutely adore this story! Great plot, superbly written, and with deep, accurate character studies, this is my favorite “Beneath the Surface”-related fanfic. I’ve read this multiple times, and it always delights me. As Jack would say, “Sweet!”

I do really like the idea that they'd tried the mind stamp at least one more time and how you depicted how things might have unfolded from there. (However, I will admit to having been heartsick over Teal'c the entire story.)

They've still got a lot to figure out and to recover from, but they're well on their way. And they won't have to do it alone. A fantastic piece overall - wonderfully done!

I came across this story and was so hooked I read it through the night until I literally fell asleep, only to wake up and start reading again...
I am having soooo many feels about this right now, I could totally picture it happening..
I have read ALOT of 'Beneath the Surface' stories but I think this one has just topped the list as my favourite.

Ugh, this was painful - in a good way! So angsty and tense and amazing. I love how you dealt with the fusion of their minds; in the episode, it was easy to believe they'd had little trouble adjusting to being Jack and Sam again, but the length of time - and the events - made it so much more.
