The dialogue was thouroughly entertaining, and the last lines were, if a bit sad, -nice-.

"Sasuke was too cool to choke on his drink"

"-shit, Sasuke thought calmly."

So funny. And so appropriately Sasuke.

Woah. The characterisation of Naruto was so good; trying to be his usual brash self and inject some humour into things but still not being able to keep the sadness from showing...*sighs happily* Well, you've won me over. Very much looking forward to where you'll take this idea.

I'm getting killed already... T_T It's going to end... no... *cries (for the story especially)*

More seriously, this is going to take a while to piece together. I think it's been too long since I read the other chapters and I don't quite understand everything that's going on, but I feel like I should... *sighs*

Very lovely story you have here, I really can't wait to read the final chapter. The way you handle the characters is real interesting and I can really see how your style is taking everything beyond the norm. It'll be real intersting to read an original work of yours.

The only critique I can think of...is how you go from one scene to another; It seems a bit too abrupt to me. But then again, I kinda see it as a new aspect within your style that's just in the seed stage.

Next-to-last chapter? If that's the case... I have a little feeling of what the ending will be like... who knows. It was a good chapter. The interactions between the characters is wonderful, and the little things like mentioning how Lee was protecting Sakura's heart and throat when he was restraining her... I just liked them. I eagerly await the next chapter! Until then, I'll reread some... it's been a while. Cyz!

I hope that wasn't the last chapter (your author's note was a bit confusing) not only because I don't want it to end, but also because I didn't feel like there was really any closure. This fanfiction is compleatly unbeliveable! It's so good! Everyone is very, very much in character, your grammer's great, the plotline is awesome! It's just so cool. I really don't understand why it's not more popular. This is probably one of the best written fanfictions I've ever read. Your writing simply flows. I also like the amount of misery and sadness you put in it. It's like your not afraid to make their lives a hell sometimes, but your not drowning them in drama and angst either. I give you my highest compliments, I am waiting with baited breath for the next installment.

I'm glad this is only half of the last chapter. I really don't want this to have to end, but your the writer, and it's the writer first, then the reader.

I've been reading this for a while now, and I'm still amazed at how this tuns better and better with every chapter. I love the way you portray team 7, the realness that contains their every move.

The politics of konoha are described marvelously, as the reasons behind every character's actions. I really, really love this story; and God, but I'll miss it when it's done.

Wow... Shit, your chapter is terrible... so dark and... wow... I feel like crying now, it was almost painful to read...

As always good chapter, but this on is perticulary dramatic... I don't see how it could end well (but maybe it's not the purpose... :( )

The characters reaction are good, Sakura who doesn't give up, and Sasuke being Sasuke but certainly hurting so much inside...

I can't wait to see the next chapter, even is the ending is sad (but I want an happy ending !)

oh my god! no no no no! they can't kill naruto! please update soon, please! i just want team 7 to be okay! so, sasuke-kun killed itachi? his ashes were what was in that tea caddy that he gave to kakashi, right? i love that...it just shows that kakashi is among the elite few that sasuke-kun could trust something that personal with. when itachi was dying i thought that was kinda sad, mostly 'cause of the little talk they had in the illusion. i swear, those uchiha brothers are so complicated. but what's gonna happen next? will sakura be able to help naruto? will naruto still be naruto? what's sasuke-kun gonna do about this? and how would kakashi feel if is old team becomes missingnins? oh god, everything is becoming so intense! update update! i can't believe this story is almost over...that makes me sad. update soon! though, i must say i'm kinda nervous about reading the next chapter because i get the distinct feeling that something bad is going to happen to people i like.

okay i've been putting off writing a review for a while now. not 'cause i didn't want to, just 'cause i'm so mad at myself. i had written a review (and a really good one too) but ended up saving it on my computer only to have it deleted when the stupid computer stopped working and my brother had to take it in to get it fixed. so i'll try to remember what it was that i wrote.

First of all, before i get started let me just say that i am a sasuke-kun fanatic. he's my favorite character so if i go off and start rambling about how fucking cool you made him, forgive me. its not that i don't like the others, i'm really quite pleased with how you wrote all of them, i'm just so happy that sasuke-kun is all badass.

i'm just so blown away by your story. seriously, you don't know how happy i am that i started reading it. i was drawn into it even before the 1st chapter ended. i love how long each chapter is. it's the perfect length and each chapter is always interesting. how you wrote all the characters and just the plot itself seems to be like kishimoto wrote it. i'm talking about how the characters interact with one makes me wish that this is actually how Naruto will turn out!

i love how you represented each character. i am pleasantly surprised with sakura. i'm so glad that you made her strong and no longer the love-struck little girl she once was. the idea of naruto's changed appearance was interesting. i thought it was cool and logical that he was resembling the demon fox more and more. however, i'm glad that hinata, sakura, and sasuke-kun did that whole sealing thing; the villagers were being too mean to naruto.

okay, on to my favorite subject: sasuke-kun. dear god i love how you made him in this fic. he's just so...i love him! his personality matches perfectly with the anime and manga. i especially loved his flashbacks to the past when he was still with the Sound village. those were so interesting. but even though orochimaru-sama is dead (no!) can the curse seal on sasuke-kun still activate? and can he transform to stage 2? that would be cool if he could.

i really like the snake that sasuke-kun summons all the time. i like how he pisses naruto off. like when naruto and sasuke-kun were arguing about their summoning animals and naruto said that the snake was in "fucking love" with sasuke-kun, i just thought that was funny. or how it always wraps itself around sasuke-kun whenever he's passed out and naruto growls because of that! is he jealous of the snake? it is kinda cute and weird that it looks after sasuke-kun, makes me wonder why it does.

you captured the kakashi and sasuke-kun relationship really well. i love reading about their interactions and the words that pass between them. kakashi understands sasuke-kun better than naruto and can relate to him more. kakashi had wanted to save sasuke-kun and i think he feels that he has failed. the line from chapter 18 just says it so perfectly: "It reminded Kakashi that someone other than him had taught Sasuke how to kill." that was just...wow, that's just a powerful statement right there. it sums up the fragile relationship between kakashi and sasuke-kun.

its kinda sad to see how much team 7 has matured. its like they're no longer the children they use to be, they seem so jaded.

i gotta say one more thing, this is referring back to how the story is very kishimoto-ish: in the anime and manga, there are times when the relationship between naruto and sasuke-kun or kakashi and sasuke-kun can be interpreted to be something a little deeper than platonic. i don't know if it's just my wishful thinking but sometimes when i'm watching/reading Naruto i just have to say "hm, i wonder..." it feels like those actions/words between the characters can be left open to interpretation. that is how your story makes me feel. i don't know if you mean it or not but i just wanna thank you for doing that. i like narusasu and kakasasu (among other sasuke-kun pairings) a lot (and i do mean a LOT) so when i pick up little inclinations towards those pairings, i get all happy.

this story is really really good. you're doing a fantastic job so far. just keep writing how you are. okay, that's all i'm gonna say right now. i wrote too much, sorry. the sad thing is i could keep rambling, but i'll stop now. anywho, can't wait for the next chapter! i'm really looking forward to it. so continue!

i lied...ONE more thing. that thing about snakes being a symbol of love in the beginning of chapter 19 was creepy...i loved it. and of course if you mention snakes i'm gonna automatically think of orochimaru-sama. but what does it have to do with him? does he still have some sort of hold on sasuke-kun? but he's dead... so is it referring to sasuke-kun? or to the snake that he always summons? or...unless...never mind, i'm just confused and anxiously waiting for an update. don't mind the crazy person! okay, i'm seriously done now.
