![]() ![]() No he leído nada más hermoso! En verdad, amo a estos personajes y has descrito un amor inmenso entre ellos! Gracias por compartir ésta belleza. Llegaste a mi alma. Aún lloro con Legolas la pérdida de Aragorn. |
![]() ![]() Bello...increíblemente bello!. He leído mucho, pero ésta historia me atrapó, la amé, la amó! Me fascinó. La amistad entre los personajes, las situaciones, los afectos, la humildad y la maravillosa forma de redactar que tienes, hicieron de ésta narración algo simplemente hermoso! Te felicito! |
![]() ![]() ![]() It would not allow me to review the last chapter since I wrote a review there already when I first read the story years ago. So here is the review for ch 41: So beautiful; the glade like a painting, wonderful images evoking such deep feelings. The words like a song, melodious in their flow. Your style of writing has always this smooth emotional flow and it feels like listening to a song rich with emotions while reading. You were so right with the warning and the tissues. I melted at the revelation and all between them that followed it. It was heart-tearing and heartwarming all together. I absolutely love the parallel you crafted with the Strongbow, so tragic a story, it makes me cry every time, but the beauty of devotion to such a friendship is amazing. The twinkling in their eyes in the ending, the elf and the ranger, how I love them! Such joy to see them like this. And the afterword to this chapter went on moving, and pulling the emotions forth. This is so very intense. Great, great work! Ch 42: You made me weep through the entire epilogue, that it was so very difficult for me to read between the sight blurred by tears and the sobs. I don't have words! Just so much love, and sadness and beauty in this! Again, it reaches all the depth I remember. This story has stayed in my heart and my memory since the first time I read it, and I'm so glad I came back to it again. Thank you for this amazing gift! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh. My. God. How cruel is THAT! Even Sarambaq's men shudder and gasp. I could barely keep reading constantly for the horror and the lump in my throat, the nausea rising at the heart-tearing emotions. All these details driving the helplessness and anguish of the father to the peak, the jagged mark, topped it even. The interaction between father and son in this draw my tears then. |
![]() ![]() Just wanted to say - this is one of my favorite fan fictions ever, and I come back to it periodically over the years. Even as life goes on and I grow older, it still means the same to me. Thank you for writing this. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This fight was cruel and unjust, but the beauty in the graceful lethality of the golden mountain cat, I almost can't recover from that. It was awesome! You pulled it to the maximum. You left me just breathless. He knew what he was fighting for. The image of Legolas on his knees, after his victory, with sweat and tears rolling over his cheeks tore my heart. |
![]() ![]() Addition to review to Ch24 It is an extreme situation and so the emotions that were not spoken for so long finally found their way from heart to heart. And one led to the other. It feels so freeing and healing. And I'm glad that you showed that between them. And even more between male characters. Men often feel forced to push emotions down not to appear weak even in our society. Here are two strong warriors, resilient and powerful, and I'm so glad you show how they allow emotions. And let me say, I find you get exactly the right balance. They feel perfectly in character. You show so many facets of them. You show the contrasts, and I told you I love contrasts. I think the skill lies in making the story and the characters rich and interesting, to show different aspects, being creative, show different emotions... make the story live. And yours applies to that wonderfully, as all that you have written, and I marked as favourite as soon as I've read ;) |
![]() ![]() ![]() So many things that needed to be said. So much carried for too long. And it was good, and so very healing. What deep words of friendship! And now I'm bracing myself for the storm... |
![]() ![]() ![]() Ah, forgot to say that I noticed: Brûyn is really fixed with the pot, confusing all his fellows And thank you for the hug |
![]() ![]() ![]() My heart swell at the tenderness in which Aragorn tended and cared for Legolas under these circumstances. The awakening was just completely overwhelming with feeling. So sweet! ️ But there is such danger around them, and Legolas' state is still so frail... |
![]() ![]() ![]() He is there, he made it! So very clever but risky too, and the tension keeps up...! Despite all the gravity of the situation I had to laugh at the guys asking what pot Aragorn was carrying :) too good! I imagined their faces. They seem not to be the most clever people anyway. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Aragorn's emotions and the tension in this chapter are incredible. You wrote in a way that nearly tore me apart. |
![]() ![]() ![]() About the glow of elves; it is a wondrous thing about them, and wonderful to imagine. And I like your interpretation of it, as you write it about Legolas. Faint and decent but clearly there. Brûyn, although twisted to hostility towards Legolas, is clearly in awe, and I love how he is observing him, his thoughts of fear of his surroundings, and the wonder about the strange and seemingly fearless being, and the sense of security he feels around him in the dark forest. Great action scenes! You built the suspense, slowly, until it peaked in horror and despair; gripping, and in all the cruelty, you described it so fascinating, almost beautiful if such can be said of a battle, and although the despair and the horror, Legolas' tears, were wrenching, and hard to bear. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Loved the image of Aragorn the ranger riding freely, fiercely. His emotions of freedom soaring without boundaries. It is not easy to be King; so many restraints so many duties. He is a good King doing his job very well and seriously, but the ranger and all that it means will always be in him, and I think that makes him a very special King. Just love to see him like this! And I'm looking forward to one day see him ride like this with the one he holds close to the heart. |
![]() ![]() ![]() No matter how twisted and evil Sarambaq's heart may be, you made me feel the deep anguish of a father. The pain touched me. And I did not miss the King lowering his head after taking the life of the young man. War is so cruel! A gripping description of emotion and battle you wrote there. I loved seeing Legolas through Bruyn's eyes, how he wonders about his enhanced senses and skills, his appearance, how alien he seems to him. Love Legolas! And then in the end the communication with the trees, and the friends sensing each other from far. Their bond is so strong that they sense the other's feelings. |
