| Bambu chapter 1 . 4/4/2008
This is the first RK fanfiction I've read, but it was recommended on Live Journal's 'Fangirl Tour' which is posted bi-weekly. I liked what was said about your story, and thought I'd push the boundaries of my fanfiction reading a little.
I'm glad I did.
What a gentle tone you've managed in this one-shot, despite Misao's slight temper with her table. I loved Aoshi's helping her to dress correctly and the fact that he painted his name on the hashi he threaded through her hair. I was expecting it to read 'taken,' but his name is an even more significant declaration, and one which will be treated with respect. Lovely.

Beautiful. This is one of my favourite A/M fics in the history of forever, and I must've read this more times than I can count. It still makes me squee unabashedly. Dammit.
