I love Saavik Spock stories. It is really the only relationship that Spock would have truly been involved in.

| ice73 chapter 1 . 2/7/2005
Good story. I thought the difference in ages between Spock and Saavik were too great for them to get married, however. Didn't he act as her father figure when they recovered her from that planet (forgot its name)?
1. 'The polished glint of her captain's insignia and the crisp crimson lines of her tunic jacket belied a terrible exhaustion which shadowed her face.'
- I would have referred to her body instead of her clothing. She might be wearing it, but it's not her.
'Her stiff stance and erect head belied the terrible exhaustion which shadowed her face.'
2. '...contracted the fever carried in a rare, few insects' sounds better to me as '...contracted the fever carried in a few rare insects.'
And that's all. Nice job, keep it up.
