notice: plagiarism!

Hello, there was recently a Twitter thread posted about an author/publisher called Plush Books plagiarizing fanfic and selling it for profit on Amazon and Barnes & Noble. The good news is they weren’t at all subtle about it, and so their title “Sacrifice Thoery: The Hunt Continues” was easy to identify as this fic.

NOOO! DON"T STOP PLEASE! Im LOVEING THIS!

I was fortunate enough to find the second fiction of your series, and, by the time I am writing this, I was delighted to see a third that follows the story line.

In all honesty, it has been some time since I have seen and/or read a ficition of this calibre. I am thoroughly impressed with the in-character air the hunters/predators have. Most fictions written of this genre have a hard time staying true to form due to fangirl-isms and general impatience for a story to develop. I was pleased to find no such thing in your fiction, as well as the bond(s) between Lex and the other predators. It was slow and eventual, only forming after she earned the right to be as she was.

My only critic is that Scale's character seemed to take an odd turn. In the beginning he was the one who was more friendly with Lex, even touching her and aiding her while Tank was more reserved and rough with her. After Scar's incapacitation, he seemed to almost treat her with a bit of disdain while Tank was more friendly and gentle with her. In my mind, it just seemed like their character's switched their roles a bit; however, that could have been entirely intentional. In any case, the ficiton was great and this did nothing to hinder the story, but it was something that I thought I might draw attention to if you decide in the future to write more fictions, and if you do want to improve your writing skills at all. Otherwise, Scale was more of the quiet reserved character while Tank was more of the Jock type. It was amusing to watch him interact with Lex in an almost "older brother" way.

All in all, great read. I am also grateful for your friend's assistance in writing the character of Reed who I just absolutely loved to hate. Lex's internal struggles with her morality/humanity were also an interesting integration. Not many writers focus on the psychological and how it would change over time and exposure. Bravo for that.

I will now promptly start on the next fiction in the series.

I have no words about lex...Scar, Scale and the other Yautja should just leave her there. I just don't want them to die because of her obtuse and confusing self...

So, she's a bitch to Scar but not Scale? Where's the logic? Lol sigh lex, lex, she's acting like she used him to survive and escape...

Why is Lex being so damn rude? She wouldn't have really survived without them, especially Scar. I don't understand why people make her so nasty in fanfics or just a straight up bitch. She seemed to feel honored in the movie. I'm sure Scar and herself bonded through moments they didn't show...im baffled.
