I am finding this a most enjoyable read. It is fairly different from the rest. Good work so far.

I know the story ended years ago, but had such a profound effect on me, but I’ve come back to read it again so many times. The imagery, created by the crucible’s, is nearly therapeutic for the reader, as you feel deeply with the main character, you feel like you’re going through his trials as well, and even if you’ve never had these problems in particular, you feel elated and assess your own problems are solved when he passes through these trials. I would love to see the story continue and maybe end it a that’s such a Naruto moment right before a battle. But that’s not where you as a writer are or may ever be so I just want to say thank you for having written what you have.

I like this story, but I didn't like this chapter, too much unnecessary stuff. It feels like reading a filler arc.
You were probably young when you wrote this, but I find the rythm to be too slow. You know, like when you compare the Lord of the Ribgs books and movies, the books have a major pacing issue that loses most readers.
Your chapters could all be cut into 2 or 3, it would make them easier to read.
Since it's so old, I don't even expect you to read this but well...

Quit overpowering villains to a laughable extent. If they are untouchable and can't be captured by a Sannin and can block a kyuubi chakra powered rasengan with a sword they are too fucking much. They will come and torment the hero through the whole thing without ever being seriously hurt. If you set up that kind of frustrating shit in chapter 1 i dont wannna see the rest.
