Vonlenska chapter 1 . 3/13/2011 "Think you that we too shall sing before Mandos?" that's perfect! hahaha your fic is so tender :3 |
Surrealshadows chapter 1 . 7/3/2007 Aw. I like this. I like the tone you set for the story. Very nicely done. What else did I want to say though...ech. I- Oh. I remember now. Nin is the elven word for 'my' and it comes after the subject. In other words, saying "Meldo nin" would be like saying "My lover." I sounds a little better that way. Other than that, it was all very good. |
Melannen Halfelven chapter 1 . 5/25/2006 Beautiful. Loved it! |
Oshun chapter 1 . 1/15/2006 Lovely. |
SteveEarleGrl chapter 1 . 9/22/2004 I'm such a fan of your work! This story is so full of hope, angst, and love it makes me story flows beautifly and you have a very captivating way of writing. I've tried time and time again but weather it be A/L,E/E,or any other they alway just end up acting like High School girls. Anyway, I'm done rambling now..GREAT STORY Bye and keep writing PLEASE SteveEarleGrl |
DarkPhoenixBC chapter 1 . 8/6/2003 *shudder-shiver-sigh* Beautiful. Delightful prose. Love slash, and tw/incest too, but this is one of the best (and that's saying something! .-) I liked it for being a sort of romance story with a good theological undertone. Thanks for knowing your stuff! |
Renn chapter 1 . 4/13/2003 Wow. this was purely beautiful. |
Earendilstar chapter 1 . 3/5/2003 Pretty. Oh i'm so addicted to Elladan/Elrohir fics. *melts* that was lovely. Luv lots, EƤren |
Liz Skywalker chapter 1 . 12/17/2002 oh, this is so beautiful. I'm such a fan of your work. I know that you said you're taking it all down, but I really hope you don't. fics like this deserve to be read. :) |
jilian baade chapter 1 . 6/9/2002 The shear beauty of this piece has stolen my breath away. How lovely. How real, and of course the twins chose to be mortal, or they would sailed with their father. I do believe many elves would have envied them their ability to choose. Slash? who cares, it is their choice that carries this story to its heights |
BloomBabe chapter 1 . 5/30/2002 This was a great story! |
BurningTyger chapter 1 . 5/14/2002 I haven't the faintest idea what first possessed me to read this story. I was searching for stories featuring Elladan and Elrohir, because I feel they're shockingly under-represented, and I found this. Maybe it was because the premise seemed so strange to me...and I read, and I was amazed. It was wonderful. Absolutely wonderful. Your writing flows almost musically; the story was heartbreaking. The fact that they're brothers never bothered me...perhaps it's because they're half-elven, or perhaps it's because I just really, really like both of them. I think I shall have to start digging around in your other slash fics, because I know I've seen them somewhere before...Star Wars slash, perhaps? It's getting late now, but rest assured I'll get to your other fics soon. Thank you for writing and having the courage to post this - it's excellent. |
Jeyhawk chapter 1 . 5/1/2002 So that got me crying. I love Elladan/ Elrohir incest stories. You think it's gross, sue me. Please write more stories. This one was so. Sweet. If I wasn't currently in love with Glorfindel I'll write some incest myself. |
Furius chapter 1 . 4/2/2002 ok, let me calm myself first, breathe in, breathe out, breathtaking story, very scary |
julifolo chapter 1 . 3/28/2002 I have a bit of wierdness in dealing with this story, having to reset my brain to the kind of motivations that happen in a world (such as Middle Earth) where Afterlife is both Fact and Proven. I agree with you of Tolkien's opinion that "choosing human" is better than "choosing elf". (Which is why Elrond's children were able to also choose, I think, though we've got no indication that Elros' children also had the option.) So in the context of assured afterlife, yes this is both sad and hopeful and makes my brain hurt (in a good way). Lovely writing, good job. |
