Ahh! I haven’t read this story in so long I had forgotten what happened! Love it when Leo shoves a brother out of the way of danger! Another fantastic story! This is one I’d love another chapter to to show us them getting Leo home & patching him up. Wonderful! You’re such a brilliant writer! I hope you come back to it someday! :)

Poor Donnie. I love how well you write all the turtles, especially Leo. He's my favorite, too, and you paint a perfect picture of him in my mind. Raph and all his anger issues, with his love so tangled up with them, sigh. Mikey doing his best and being a light in the darkness.

This story was incredibly well written! I loved Don's maguivering with the cigarette pack wrapper. Very detailed with the medical stuff- very interesting, and kinda made me squirm with how realistic it was. Loved your characterization of the turtles, esp Mike's lines. Seeing parts of the story through the OC's eyes was a nice change of pace, and very well done. Wow what a hard choice for Don! I take it this was the last chapter, and through the foreshadowing the audience is to assume poor Connie died and Leo hopefully lived, but I wish there was an epilogue to confirm my theory. Great job in the story!

This is the second work of yours I've read, after FADE, and I am throughly enjoying. It is wonderful to find an author who pays attention to spelling, characterization, and a realistic story line. (I recently read a story where Leonardo got turned into a female angel with wings, and he & Raphael were instantly mates, despite the fact a minute ago they were brothers who could barely stand each other.)

Bravo! Keep up the good work!

One little nit-picky thing for this chapter, but it is a pretty small one- you use the word "gate" to describe how one of the turtles walks down the alley. A gate is a thing that swings open & shut. When a person or turtle is walking, it's "gait". Both are actual, correct words & will go through spell check, just have slightly different meanings!

Incapable of writing a short fanfic? Hardly! But I want this one to keep going, so it's all good, dude.

Well, off the top of the bat I love Don, so I like reading stories about him. But it is definitely holding my interest-I can't wait to read the next chapter. And I always like reading good accounts of the turtles' parkour-like freerunning rooftop extravaganzas.
