|Reviews for Fall From Grace|
| Aileil chapter 1 . 7/8/2012
Doctors hardly get the recognition that is their due. Carson has saved the lives of SGA-1 more times than any other member of the expedition and still he is little more than a footnote, an afterthought in the eyes of many fans he is a superfluous character. You have here shown a little bit of the world of an under appreciated man. Thank you.
| Ppleater chapter 1 . 1/16/2009
Beautiful, absolutely beautiful. So in character.
| Obsessed Pam chapter 1 . 1/23/2008
I take my hat off to you. What starts with a whimsical little aside by our wonderful Carson Beckett is the start of a truly wonderful story containing humour, drama and a whirlpool of emotion surrounding three of my favourite SGA characters. There were more than a few gems in this story - too many to mention, so I can only say to anyone out there who hasn't read this - get down to it now.
This is well, well worth it's place in the 2007 Stargate Fan Awards nominations!
| Trishkafibble chapter 1 . 9/13/2006
Oh, wow, that was so gorgeous...
| LilRicki chapter 1 . 6/19/2006
Ok, so I've been reading through your POV series and I just needed to say: excellent. I enjoyed the ones before, and I'm sure I'll enjoy the ones after, but the end of Fall from Grace . . .
Basically, you nearly had me in tears. Just wanted to let you know that. The highlighted route to Vegas with the one word "Sorry" printed on it - oh! Nearly lost it. I probably would have, too, if I wasn't reading it at work. Great job. That is all.
| rebekah78 chapter 1 . 5/11/2006
Nice work! Thanks for the excellent story - you did a fine job!
| Delka chapter 1 . 5/10/2006
Fine story. Thanks!
| angw chapter 1 . 11/23/2005
This continuing series of POV's is really great. I hope that there will be a 'vegas' one :D
| Minuialeth chapter 1 . 8/16/2005
That's the first time I read your stuff and you can be sure it's not the last. WOW! I'm so glad I followed that rec at the Gateworld forum.
You write McKay/Sheppard wonderfully. I was laughing so hard at some point that I was crying. Brilliant pieces of dialogue, girl!
Aurore, off to read "Tokens"
| Sg-16 chapter 1 . 6/22/2005
OMG... that was amazing. "Sorry" that's scary, really scary. And now i'm wondering what Rodney said to John in his note. Maybe you could write that into another story. And you did Carson really well. i can totally see him hating airplanes and ATA genes. I'd say I liked this one the best, by far.
| Laura-trekkie chapter 1 . 6/22/2005
This one's very poignant. You captured Carson brilliantly, with his dislike of the gene, jumpers and sundry Ancient devices, and his sadness at having been unable to help Markham and Smith. I also thought you showed his concern for Rodney, and John too, very well. And I liked his devious drugging of power bars :.
As for the John/Rodney interaction: Excellent as always. Only they could fall out with each other over the fact that they each wanted to keep the other safe ::rolls eyes::. Rodney's little episode was alarming, especially when Carson was hanging off the catwalk :-O. And the ending was sad, with Carson worried that he'll have to hand over one of the letters, or worse, neither of them, but for bad reasons.
| Nande chapter 1 . 6/2/2005
Wow, That was amazing. I would write a better review but Im still crying. Keep writing you have real talent.
| Dr. Dredd chapter 1 . 4/29/2005
I've also enjoyed this, and have added it to my Carson C2 community. (Incidentally, you gave me the idea for the name Highlander Medic with your Connor McLeod joke.) I think you've got Beckett spot on, and I only hope I can do as well.
| b7-kerravon chapter 1 . 4/22/2005
OMG...I think that is the most beautiful story of the bunch; you need to write Carson more often!
| jennamajig chapter 1 . 4/13/2005
I love this. Made me laugh, especially the whole paragraph about Carson's ancestor getting "a leg over." Great Beckett voice and giving us not only perspective into John and Rodney's friendship, but the good doctor himself. Wonderful job.
