Nice story, well written, though short. Understandably short though, this premise only had so many words to it's name. If you're still reading reviews I hope you come out with additional stories as good as this.

Thank you for providing me with my daily dose of angst filled awesomeness. This was very well written and I really enjoyed the read. I honestly thought for a while you were going to make Naruto blow up at Hinata at least a little. But it was a nice fliff induced ending. And I liked the first epilogue better. Just because of the little bit of mystery behind what happened the 10 between that day and the present and what could of happened even after the epilogue. And it was a bitter sweet ending when I thought Hinata was dead. But the other epilogue was still cool and had more closure than the first. And I couldn't help but laugh a little when one of Naruto's students thought Sasuke was the rumoured hero. I'll say it again good job man keep up the good work. And it seems you have a talent for dark kinda angsty stories, so I hope and look forward to read more of those kind of stories from you, if you find the inspiration.

I have to say in all honesty...Bra-fucking-vo. A beautifully done story, especially the first epilogue. You really reached the core of the characters, along with the emotions that had long been suppressed. In fact I'd even go so far as to say fics like this are the reason I come to this site. Well done and keep up the magnificent work.

Sweet if a tad ooc. I was uber depressed by te first ending, so the second was very welcome even though it sucked that Sakura died.

The second ending is much better than the first, if for no other reason than the level of detail provided. Except for spelling forward, foreword, there weren't any errors that I noticed. With the extended afterword that you added, the second possible end to your story is nothing short of fantastic because of the insight provided into what happened to each of the characters. Knowing that Sakura and Naruto patch up or how Shino died may not seem important, but they added a lot of flavour the original ending lacked. I do wish there was more detail on how the other genin reacted and whether they started to change themselves immediately after Naruto's revelation.

You had a good story idea and executed it well, for the most part. I could have done without the spelling mistakes that plagued your early chapters and the review responses tacked on to the end of each chapter. Other than that, it was pretty good. Like a lot of others, I was upset that the first ending (and probably your favourite one) didn't bring Naruto and Hinata together. Your second ending fixes that, so I suppose I really can't complain. Can you please share your thoughts on both endings with me?

As far as the rants at people go, I'm glad that you didn't have Naruto go off on Hinata. That wouldn't have fit the theme of your story, although it could have been written to work in your favour. I don't have any complaints about who got ranted at and who didn't, because that is your choice as an author.
