Bioshock Infinite made me think of this story. I don't suppose that Xatu was a quantum physicist?

You have inspired me to write a Xatu one-shot/drabble of my own. It won't compare to what you have written... but I hope it can be as nearly as confusing as yours was.

The violence kinda turned me off, but at the same time, you realize that Pokemon isn't just all fung and making friends with anything that happens to cross your path. There is more to physical conflict, and you show that nicely with Xatu's disorientating view on the world. Nice.

That... was brilliant. A very insightful oneshot that lets you into the mind of a Xatu... Funny, because this is how I always pictured them to be. Wise, but confused to the point of insanity.. or perhaps enlightened to the point of madness. Either way, it's still the same message however you perceive it :]

The Xatu reminds of myself. He understands the Nature of Time. But is driven a little crazy. But he's sane enough to know this. (I understood this completely! And YOU didn't!) He IS messed up, but not completely insane.

An enlightened look at the strange mind of a strange Pokémon. I like it.

Interesting take on Xatu. It had a nice flow to it, and was quite anjoyable to read. (If you kept that perception on Xatu, I would think it would be fun to write a story on one. I'm betting it was fun and interesting to write that particular piece, uh?)

Confusing but I like it. Very amusung.

I really enjoyed this, especially as you so nicely tied in stuff from the games, for example "It stands rooted to the spot all day long. People believe it does so out of fear of the things it has seen in the future" (or something), but then greatly expand on it, and make the Xatu zone out during battle, thinking about wars and battles. I think this was incredibly well done, and Pokémon inner monologues are extremely difficult to do well (at least, in my experience), and one with this amount of depth is amazing.

...And I lurve Xatu :)
