So thank you for writing this, back now so long ago. I loved it, and I hope you're still making art, cause damn ur great at it :)

This is such a wonderful story! It has all the perfect ingredients and plot! The growing bond between Legolas and Sam is so nice to read, with all the challenges, fear, hope, and sacrifice. The Fellowship is looking for them desperately, then watching the final stage, not able to do anything about it. The rescue, the healing... I have enjoyed this story a lot. Such good in-characters, narrative flow and end. Thank you for writing this!

What a delight to read. I think this is probably the best Fellowship fic I've ever read. You did such a great job giving everybody their voices and making sure none of them got lost in the shuffle, which is so hard with a large cast. And the prose itself was impeccable, so well-written. I could easily see this being an actual adventure in the book. Who knew I needed a Legolas and Sam misadventure/bonding story so much?

Holy cow... this was without question my absolute favorite LOTR fanfic...ever! It kept me riveted up until midnight when I finally had to get some sleep, and the minute I woke up I immediately grabbed it to start reading again. You did an absolutely amazing job!
