Why are all the good stories abandoned?

Me again. Since Chapter 10, it kind of feels like the story is becoming more OOC. The hyper realism you portrayed Malfoy and Hermione with is sort of disappearing and they feel drastically different from your earlier chapters. Change is fine, but maybe this is too sudden. Even the Slytherins are kind of unbelievable at this point; Devon was always charming in your story but him liking Hermione seems too sudden. The earlier chapters had grit and were brutally realistic but still fresh and novel. These later chapters are falling more into the cliche of "fanfiction", where all the guys have seen Hermione in her nightgown, she's spending the night in the same bed with Malfoy, who she now likes (and Devon). She seems to have lost her traits as Hermione Granger and kind of become a generic female lead, while Malfoy and Devon have lost their depth and become love interests.

There are Dramione stories out there that manage to portray Malfoy and Hermione falling in love without them losing their character/realism (incidentally, those are my favourites too). The earlier chapters of this story definitely have that quality and with a unique story concept to boot. Malfoy calling Hermione by her name (and vice versa) is something I find difficult to swallow in a lot of Dramione stories. Their history just doesn't suggest that it's something that could easily happen.

Really amazing story so far, but this chapter (chapter 10) is slightly disorienting and a bit random compared to the flow of the previous chapters. Malfoy's shift towards Hermione is a little too jarring and Voldemort attacking Hermione mentally is a very random and huge escalation to what this story initially seemed to be. Still going to read more of course, too good to stop, but just some comments/feedback in case you ever consider editing this in the future. The anger and violence, with the hints of things changing, between Malfoy and Hermione, was honestly very well done in the previous chapters. Very realistic; that might be why this chapter felt off. One other thing, personally, I can't see the real Draco Malfoy ever actually physically hitting a girl (he held back in the third book and that shows that even Malfoy abides by some rules and morals), but the tension is unbelievable in the early chapters of this story!

I just don't understand. Draco assaulted Hermione and sexually assaulted her, yet they act as though nothing happened? Wtf?!
