This is one of my favourite fics! Love the way you write Kenshin and Kaoru together :)

Awe that was sweet! I liked how you made the story flow despite being relatively short. The actions of the characters seemed right on target. I had to keep reminding myself that they were vampires. The depiction of how it felt to be blind were great! They really made me think. Not to mention get a real feel for your Kaoru.

Please write another!

I have read this about 3 or 4 times over the years, I don't review that often because I like the anonymity of not doing it. This story is wonderful, It's refreshing to read a story that doesn't surround her inability to cook or more masculine insecurities, thank you for that. I look forward to enjoying your future work.

I'm half-asleep right now, so I can't exactly function enough to describe how much I love this- but I really, really love this fic. It's one of my favorites of yours (I'm sort of stalking you right now) right behind Red as Blood. It's just so perfect and really captures what a genuine relationship between Kaoru and the Battousai would look like. Keep on writing, ma'am!

Hmmm I noticed people with disabilities tend to do that, crack jokes at the expense of their own to air out any awkwardness and make it easier for everyone. But still that's just like Kaoru to be sassy with Kenshin. And ohhh I love Jake, that cute dog.

My first question is is it a one shot and my second thing is I need more. I'm a selfish human which needs more. So I do hope that their is a second chapter to this. I truly enjoy your writing.
