It’s been a year since you updated. It’s so hard to follow a story with no way of knowing if you’ll ever know how it ends or if you’ll get to read any more. Please reward your faithful readers?

An amazing story! I don’t know where to start but I’m so glad Erik got his music back! I love Erik so much and I don’t want him too much in Christine’s shadow. I also love the Erik/Raoul dynamic. I took a chance on reading this story because I knew it wasn’t complete. But it came highly recommended by Gondolier, author of Fraternite (itself a fantastic work) I thought it worth the risk. Fortunately the last chapter ended at a good spot, but I do want to see more. I feel very invested in these characters, and that is because of your brilliant writing. I do hope you and yours are well. It looks like you’ve given 16 years of your life to this story, and I truly appreciate it. I hope it has been a labor of love for you. Hopefully you will be able to complete it someday. I definitely will be rereading it.

The only fanfic I’ve ever read that truly deserves to be published. The characters have had such great development over the last 73 chapters, and I hope there will be many more chapters to come.

This work is amazing. It is well-written, the plot is really interesting and there is character development tgat we can see throughout the story. This is my favourite POTO fanfiction. I hope it isn't abandoned

This is honest to God the best fanfiction I have ever read- the psychological depth of the characters, the influence of their pasts, their own personal fears and phobias- all of it- stunning work. The fact that it’s on hiatus was heartbreaking but I would love to see it published- during some research I have found 6(!) books based on Phantom of the Opera- two of them being published fanfictions. If you ever publish it or write a book- I’d be first in line to get it even with the shipping taxes.

WOW, this chapter was phenomenal. It's understated and poignant. There's this quiet sense of loss, something bittersweet. You don't quite pay attention to it, but it's a small whispering sense that you've lost something so important. Similar to the feeling after you've left a party and you're driving home alone late at night. Outwardly he's moved on and upon realizing that a part of her has died. It's painfully clear the world has moved on without her; he practically was her whole world.
