I really, really liked this.

I do wish they'd done more than just talk to the Dursleys, like report them for child abuse. They didn't even report Harry as missing. Horrible muggles.

Very dissapointed in this chapter, skipped over most of it as it seemed A: unnecessary and B: very difficult to read... what was the deal with the cat's and turnips? surely that's never going to be important to the story in any way!

Ah the plot thickens...but the key, for me at least, is how you handle the inevitable reunion...

A particularly strong first chapter! Especially given that it was a scene we all think we know from Cannon, you managed to stay true to JKR's work but give us the extra depth necessary to make the story not just interesting, but compelling.

nice fic - find it a bit long winded with descriptions here and there and very little Harry in it.

aww Draco seemes soo is just as I would imagine him as and James is just hilarious. At first when Draco came in I thought that he was very un-Dracoish but he did originaly want to be friends with Harry.

I first read this story a year or so ago, and, being the procrastinator that I am, said I would review it when I had more time. I spent quite a while looking for it again because I'm such a scatterbrain, but, now I've found it once more, I just need to tell you this.

I absolutely adore this story. I love your writing style. Your characterisation. The developments. The cliffhangers. Everything. I laughed. I cried. I really confused my mother.

I read it straight through in one sitting the first time I read it, and again when I found it again. It was even better the second time I read it through.

Then I remembered the author's note at the bottom of the last chapter, telling of a rewrite with added excellence, and I wondered how you could possibly make this story better. So I investigated.

And found that the website is gone.

I'm not entirely sure if you're still active on this site, but I am desperately curious as to the status of this rewrite you speak of. Does it still exist? Did it ever exist? Was there a terrible accident involving three llamas, a vat of cookie dough and an umbrella that caused it to be forever lost in the mists of time?

If you aren't too busy, or angry at me for writing an essay instead of a review, I wonder if you would be willing to set my mind to rest?

I loved it :) I read it in one day, because I simply couldn't stop - damned cliffhangers - but it was worth it! I was sad, that Lucius died, but at least it wasn't somebody who I loved more... I probably will read the take two version as well, but all the same, could you please send me those notes you wrote about how will Draco and Harry meet in school? Thanks :)

The end of this chapter definitely had me going 'awww!'
