Reviews for The Last Supper
Polly Little chapter 1 . 2/6/2017
I love this song, and the fic find perfectly.
Son Of Evil chapter 1 . 2/24/2004
Wow. This is a very emotionaly powered story. It's extreamly rare to find perspective like this, and even rarer to find someone who can address and explain the issue as well as you have. I'm adding you to my fav authors. I'll make a point of reading your other work soon. I hope you never stop writing, it would be a tragic loss. Well done.
Rags666 chapter 1 . 6/17/2003
Just how old is dumbldore...

This was fucking excellent, there are extremly few fics that deal with pettigrew a well as this. And the biblical themes were nicely done- easy enough for those with little bible knowledge to get but it still had a massive impact. You know I wonder if JK will ever make those themes so explicit in her books...
RB chapter 1 . 3/29/2003
This is very good, very thoughtful in the themes.

The narrative aspects of the fic were a bit lacking. It was somewhat disjointed, not merely in the sense that you jump from one character's POV to that of another, but that you are displaying a tendency not to introduce plot elements and transitions as smoothly as possible. Sorry if I'm not making much sense...
f0xyness39 chapter 1 . 9/29/2002
wow *sniff* you almost got me crying...

this was amazing. you are a really good writer.

hope to see more stories like this!
AuthorByNight chapter 1 . 12/15/2001
Excellent story!
Eilynne chapter 1 . 6/30/2001
I, like others, found my way to your fic through your posts in the forum. You are definite proof that the so-called golden age of Harry Potter fanfiction is over. There are still many talented writers in this section that have not left and are relatively new. That said...this story *is* original. It's so much easier to write Lucius Malfoy as he's often written-cold, ruthless, and just plain mean. And the characterization of Peter Pettigrew-excellent fic. Also, I like Remus's thinking, how he's a Christian because he agrees with the way the writers considered good and evil. Sadly, this is probably the longest review I have ever written. I really should write more and longer reviews. Maybe this whole business recently might actually be good for the community, thanks to the intelligent posts made in the forum by people like yourself. I hope I said something intelligent in this review )
gumdrop chapter 1 . 6/30/2001
I read this a few nights ago, but i didn't get time to review so i came back to do just that. After remembering you from your many posts at the HP forum, i came to read your work, and i'm really glad i did. This gave me a whole new insight into Peter. There's not many fics like this at FF.N. I'm off to read more of your work...
Dolores chapter 1 . 5/26/2001
I like this story. The portrayl of Peter as a man who made wrong decisions was done very well.
Giesbrecht chapter 1 . 5/7/2001
*That* was a powerful fic. Your themes of betrayal, justice, guilt, and courage were exceptionally well portrayed. I also appreciated your parallel of the Last Supper with the story; I'm Mennonite, myself, and have long seen how closely Peter's betrayal echoes Judas'. (I will mention that I believe that the Bible is true, but that's an argument for another time) Anyway, good job! Thank you!
Aira chapter 1 . 5/5/2001
Wow. That was a very powerful story, and very well done. While I personally think Peter is past redemption at this point, I give you *major* kudos for having the guts to try something so new and different. There are so few writers who even try to give Peter the slightest bit of depth, let alone redeem him. You get *a lot* of points for originality in my book. I found the religion in this, also, to be well done, without going on over-drive. You really made me thing on several issues, such as whether admitting you've done wrong makes a person less evil. Not too often that I see a fanfic that makes me consider moral issues-I loved that! Thank you so, so much for writing this beautiful fic that sheds Wormtail in a different light in addition to raising such issues. If everyone put as much thought and originality into their fics, the HP section at FF.N would be ten times better. :-D
naavi chapter 1 . 4/30/2001
That was long, but very very good! I really think that you got into the charcters. Great Job!
Ashley chapter 1 . 4/28/2001
Go ahead...take a guess as to which Ashley this is from! I don't know a lot about Harry Potter - which is why I think I'll wait to read the rest of your stories - but I know good writing! I loved the parallels in this story very much. The style was effecteive. The philosophy was profound, and yet was not "wordy." All in all, it was definately worth reading.
Gohan Hugger chapter 1 . 4/13/2001
i like it, i like it...
Rhysenn chapter 1 . 4/12/2001
How in the *world* did I miss this? Ack. I really like this new POV you have employed, from Wormtail's perspective, and the parallels drawn with the Bible and Judas' betrayal. I think the phrase "Peter, you will deny me" was a whole level of significance I had never contemplated before. "Even being under the Dark Lord was surely higher than being the equal of James and Sirius, wasn't it?" - I liked this statement because it succinctly sums up what Peter's motivation for betrayal was. And you even made me feel a twinge of sympathy for the wretched man: It would never be enough, indeed. Sometimes when writing 'Irresistible Poison' I get this same vibe of hopelessness crossing between the characters - of course, in this story it's a whole lot more grave and serious, and not just a matter of Draco snogging Harry. *grin* But that is a fun thing, altogether! But I digress... All in all, this is a thoughtful and insightful piece that stands out from the usual fare - keep writing!
