| Dark Hope Assassin chapter 1 . 4/29/2007 It's been quite a long time since anyone has managed to bring tears to my eyes with a story. But you definitely did. It was a very interesting story, that. Brilliant. I loved the last scene, where you showed how Sakumo, Obito and Yondaime knew, in their last moments, what they were dying for. It was deeply touching, magnificent. |

| Rilina chapter 1 . 8/16/2006 This is a lovely one-shot that develops its themes really well; the last lines feel inevitable in just the right way. I also like this fic's Kakashi; there's a nice balance between melancholy and strength. I do enjoy reading angsty!Kakashi, but I do feel that some writers pour it on a *little* thick, in a way that's not entirely consistent with how we've seen him in canon. I also like the suggestion that Sakumo's suicide was driven not only by despair but also perhaps by an honor code; it makes the event somewhat more understandable. |
