I love the new development of Marietta being unknowingly involved in Harry's custody petition. At least it will serve to distract her a bit from the misfortune that has happened to her. Hopefully, by the way, she discovers something that allows her to regain power over her situation. It's very good that Severus advises her on how to carry out her revenge, and that the similarities between their situations are brought out.

It's good that Severus is sent to Switzerland again so he can avoid taking part in the assault on Azkaban.

No... It can't be that Draco also fell into the old man's trap. And to top it off having to put up with Moody's impertinence. I'm so sorry, he's one of my favorite characters in the story, and I was hoping that his development would take another path, more independent of Dumbledore's maneuvers.

It breaks my heart that Severus thinks he's going to die as soon as the hearing fails. I wish he has more time.

I find it incredible that Harry has come to consider Severus as his potential guardian. It's good for Dumbledore to demand that he apologize to the Potions Master before beginning his Occlumency lessons with him. Also that he is beginning to see the true face of Lupin.

I loved Filch's POV, although his friendship with Severus seems a bit self-serving. It's touching that he doesn't want to leave the Wizarding World for the sake of his cat.

Another excellent chapter. I love the subtlety of Severus' conversations where so much is said without expressing it explicitly. The exchanges with Umbridge, Percy and Rosier are great.

I also liked the new appearance of Molly and the new development in which they are going to appear as apparently warring parties over custody of Harry. This plot twist promises some very juicy scenes, and I hope it doesn't end, as Severus expects, with his misfortune because losing the lawsuit.

However, I am concerned that Lupin is now also aware of the Potions Master's liking for Molly, and I fear it will reach less kind ears.

Another very interesting chapter. I'm glad Miss Edgecombe's rapist was found out, and it would have been nice if Severus could have taken revenge on the spot, but it's true that it's better left to the girl.

A disturbing exchange with Bellatrix. I'd like to see her fall from grace as well.

And the next one promises… the dinner that Lupin will attend, let's see how he manages in the nest of snakes.

What an interesting chapter, I loved it, despite Severus' bad time when visiting his former "lover." I'm especially fascinated by the conflicting feelings he has for Malfoy, although Lucius' for Severus are quite disturbing. I really feel sorry that they have such a toxic relationship, because I adore the fics in which their friendship is real and deep despite being on opposite sides.

And ending the evening clearing away all the bad feelings by sharing with Hagrid, Fang and Winky has been wonderful. It's great that Severus has friends and can enjoy them.

I love that Pomona and Severus understand each other so well despite how different they are. Their talks are always very fruitful. Her reflection on how she would treat Severus reveals a deep understanding of the Potions Master.

Interesting explanation of Umbridge's way of being, although it does not justify it.

It's good that Lupin has responded somewhat to the effort Severus is making to be civil to him.

It's funny how he finds a remedy for any problem others have, like with Firenze.

I dread that imminent trip to Azkaban.

It would be great if Severus wrote his own Potions textbooks, with the improved recipes!

I feel very sorry for Montague and his family. I hope he recovers and the twins somehow pay for what they did to him.

I like his ideas to improve the Wolfsbane Potion. Although the truth is that Lupin does not deserve at all that the Potions Master waste another minute of his time helping him.

It would be nice if Miss Edgecombe's reputation-preserving ploy resulted in a romance that brought them joy.

What a great imagination to represent them all as wolves. Hopefully Severus gets over his terror.

I understand the need to do penance, but I think that it would be enough with how bad he is having in many other aspects. It seems that he likes to torture himself.

It seems that Remus is contributing a bit to change Harry's mind, but very tepidly, we know, as he is.

Too bad Severus couldn't meet his first-years and they had to meet Dumbledore instead. I hope it's not some new ploy of his to get information and manipulate them later.

Well, it seems that Harry is still making progress in his understanding of the Potions Master and striving to have a civil relationship with him. I would like to see some closer interaction between them.

I hope the rosebuds he picks up until his death don't just mean taking virginity and life from defenseless women and assisting girls who are raped. And also that the darkness that awaits him does not mean an eternity of service to Voldemort.

It's okay for Moody to take care of Snape in a way, if only for the sake of not losing him and prying information out of him. Perhaps he, too, was somehow transformed by the ritual they performed. It would be nice if they got over their differences from the past and collaborate as the allies that they are.

I hate it when Severus suffers pain or contempt, but I hate it even more when he has to commit heinous acts to maintain his cover, because then it's himself he feels the contempt for. I fear the damage this new murder has done to his soul.

As compensation, I was delighted with Draco's meeting with Hagrid and his new opinion of him. At least the boys are learning.

It's good for Harry keeps reflecting on Severus' role and changing his opinion of him.

After the short rest, Severus' ordeals return. I have loved that his Slytherins visit him and the talk he has had with Vincent. I'm worried about the kids and the new summons.

Why is it that Dumbledore always hurts Severus when he interacts with him, no matter how much he seems to try otherwise? This Severus is still too submissive and dependent on the old man.

As always, the exchanges with Winky are very cute. She's the only one who dares to hug him!

Wow, Harry has finally figured out who's responsible for his gift. I expected him to be more shocked, in a good or a bad way, though it seems his opinion of Snape is slowly changing for the better. How will he behave when he sees him again?
