Wow. Loved this story. Great insight into Amanda’s thoughts, trying to deal with the loss of Lee.

Thoughtful, sad filler (brought tears to my eyes) and well-written. Lee's death prompted Amanda, who felt isolated in her grief, to realize that it wasn't Dean she wanted to turn to ... it was Lee. In fact, she needed to dump Dean. So poignant when Amanda recalled her initial response to Lee's answer to her asking how long he knew his partner, who was killed on-the-job, "Not long enough." She understood that perfectly, now!

Poor Billy has to walk a fine line, sitting at the bar with Amanda. Being a very astute Section Chief, he also gleaned a key piece of information that would solve a problem brilliantly!

Wow..that was definitely a wonderful filler. I felt all the emotions Amanda was feeling thinking he was dead. Bringing Billy into it was perfect. He was the one person that everyone looked up to so having him talk to her, was perfect. Thank you for a great story.
