I love what you do. You take a story idea that could have been a long and ungainly one-shot piece of prose, cluttered with dialogue and overly-detailed descriptions of this girl's hair and eyes and spunky attitude. You take that idea and turn it into an achingly short poem, perfectly worded, perfectly balanced, perfectly marvelous. That's what you do. And I love it.

How different things might have been ... you clearly have a grasp of the way things worked back in the "good" old days. Makes one feel sorry for William, his bride not to be, and Cecily, not to mention all those victims yet to come.
