I know you probably get this a lot but please please please update soon. I know that it doesn't bode well that it's almost been a year since you last updated but I'm still holding out hope for an update. After all you did say that you were going to finish it.

Anyways, I love this story, and you're version of Ash is simply awesome.

I'm not sure where to really begin with this review but I do gotta say that this is one hell of a story. I've read alot of Ash and Misty stories and many are poorly written but this one is fantastic. You created a whole other world which is something very few people can do. Aside from a few typo's alot of this is written like a pro. There are only a few things missing. I for one would love to see pictures but thats just me being curious. Secondly, i noticed its been like a year since you last updated, and this story is so near completion. I hope you haven't stopped writing because its a great story and I would love to see how it all ends.

This story is amazing! Not to mention, highly addictive! I was captivated from word #1! I waited to read the whole thing before reveiwing it, so I could say how wonderful the WHOLE STORY was! It made me mad when I had to quit and save where I was so I could sleep! A true masterpeice! This is most likely the BEST Poke'shipping fanfic I have ever read! A truely fantastic job!

I absolutely adore this story! It's well written and the characters, despite being in a totally different setting and having totally different things to shape their lives, are remarkably in character. This is probably one of the best fanfics I've seen in a long, long time. I love everything about it, and can't wait to see what the next chapter holds.

It is actually quite easy to describe this. Amazing. I have enjoyed every bit of the story. What leaves me a little irked, however, is that it's not finished. You weave this masterful tale of romance, danger, and struggle...only to leave it incomplete. The web of imagination is fraying at the end, bringing the reader back to reality and it's harshness instead of letting it go on a little longer to a complete, easy stop.

When you get a chance, could you please finish it? Please?

You are my favorite writer EVER. Not just fanfic’s. I mean books, magazines, heck even my friends. I LOVE this phantom… up to chapter 17…

OMG NO OFFENCE! I like chapter 17 and 18… except for the sex scenes. It’s not that I’m too young or anything, I mean I’m 13 for mew’s sake! (lol) I mean I watch gossip girl and read the books and let me tell you, those books are GRAPHIC! It’s just, one second Ash is this sensitive, scared kid who lives in a world where everyone hates him, and then *BOOM* he is this flesh-hungry… um… uh… boy… YEAH THAT’S IT! he turns into a testosterone charged teenage boy who always has that on his mind. I don’t mind them sleeping in the same bed or anything HECK! I slept in the same bed as one of my friends during a sleepover (I’m a girl, she’s a girl nothing happened, there just weren’t enough sleeping areas…) anyways… I don’t mind them sleeping in the same bed, it’s just that you said they "slept together" and "that you just happened to find your way between her legs,". Um… X-rated much? I think that you should cut those 3 scenes out. aka 1.) The sex scene 2.) The Rudi being all ‘oh so you just happened to…’ 3.) And the almost sex scene.

Other than those, totally amazing. Kudos to you.

Anyways, back to the first paragraph… I loved Adopted Love. That was the first story I read that you wrote. I thought “wow this person is the best fanfic writer so far” and I realized that you wrote 22 stories or something and you mentioned something about phantom being the best one and blah blah, so I read this one next. And it was amazing. I always love it when you take something that someone knows a lot about (Pokemon) use the same characters (Ash, Misty, Brock, Delia… etc.) and just change their personalities somewhat and change the story completely. For instance, with gossip girl, I LUV the show and then I read the books and they are really different. I like the show better, no doubt, but it makes it so I can piece things together (like who goes out with who, who’s a bad person etc.) but not have it be predictable and boring. Similar to this. I know that Gary and Ash are rivals/enemies, but in your fanfics, Ash and Gary HATE each other. I love almost everything about Phantom, except for the “stuff” previously mentioned and the following:

chapter names don’t really make any sense

talk about duplica and then, like, never mention her again

things don’t make that much sense. I suggest editing it

… that’s about it… I’ll add other things later if I think of them

Hello there...well I suppose its about time I review this story (because I've already re-read this story about a 5 other times...but who's really counting)

This story is...well to put it simply - AMAZING! Its so creative and well written! Theres that could be wrong with a story like this. You are such a talented writer! The plot was absolutely amazing, and the characters were protrayed perfectly! And even if some had an alternate personality, it fit them perfectly as a alternate universe story! Its just...well its amazing! (excuse my suck-upy-ness which tends to leak from my pores every now and then! But hey what can I say...I just can't stop praising this story its just so good)

There's something about alternate universe stories, or different plots that stray away from the actual series that makes me love it! I love stories that don't actually follow the plot line of pokemon series, because it tells a different story all together starting from scratch! It makes it more creative and...wild! Even if there just a big twist that turns the whole pokemon plot upside down...something that strays away from the actual show!...oh now I'm rambling :D

I adore the way you thickened the plot. Adding in the death of Max (which was sad) only made it more interesting because of the obvious anger from the Harukas. And how you had Ash give Misty the Ponyta at the beginning to take care of (making a start in their relationship) was genius, because not only was it a fire type, but it was also the last pokemon she could get staying at the school! At the intimate scenes made me grin from ear to ear (which I'm sure people were questioning about)! Everything seemed to stir different emotions in me (which I find to be a good positive reaction :D)

This story couldn't of been written any better...and by an even better writter as yourself! You have an amazing talent that shines greatly!

I hope that an update will come sometime soon...cus I'm sure half of the population died from anxious waiting...not that I don't mind waiting cus it prolongs the excitement :D but sometimes its too much for the heart, lol! So I will wait to read your next chapter...and the chapter after that...and probably every other chapter after that one too...until the story is finished. Which is kinda upsetting because I kinda don't want it to end :D

I've read your profile too, and I'm stricken to hear that you're not going to write anymore pokemon stories...although hopefully still finishing the ones you have! Its so great to have good pokemon stories around here, and thats because of you and other writters! I hope sometime in the future you get that Umph to write more stories (with amazing plots and twists). It would be great to see more of you and your work :)

I've been thinking of writting stuff myself (given the motivation from you/your stories and other writers). But I figure I lack that talent, and told my self to keep all my thoughts to myself and stick to reading instead of writing (which I find quite easy and am rather good at...excuse my laziness) - so if you're looking for some ideas, feel free to pop in!

Once again I really hope to hear more from you and your stories, and hope that you find happiness in what you do! There's not too many people like you...which is a shame :(

Wow. Just... woah.

I was actually not looking forward to read your story; I hate long-winded fanfictions that hardly ever relate to the canon series, but I was bored and just decided to give it a try. I have to admit that I didn't bother reading the first chapters... I skimmed around because, well, I don't like so much action and adventure. But after a while, I was clinging to every word, and not just because I tend to lean towards the romance side of things.

It's so... original, nothing I've ever read before in the fanfiction world. (Haven't watched Phantom of the Opera, but now I want to!) I read to the end in one sitting. Everyone has a character, a meaning, and it's so refreshing to have the Pokemon actually play a role for once and not be there just because this is well, a Pokemon fanfiction.

That's what's so important though, that even though this is an AU, and I personally hate AUs, especially long ones of the dramatic kind- it's still great and stays true to the original. Where I can still make ties between this Misty and canon Misty, without her personality blaring at me, saying "Misty is independent! Misty is a redhead! Misty is a Water-type trainer!" as if that's the only thing keeping the story in this section of this website.

Yet, I can still see the Pokemon characters in this story as a character you've taken and molded into something great, not something you wrote up and slapped an already copyrighted name on just because it'd fit. That's really hard to achieve, and you ma'am, deserve some sort of award for that.

Unfortunately, this review is all I can give. (My longest review ever, too.) I'm glad you've decided to finish it at least, I would've gone crazy if you didn't! I hope all of what I said made sense, and if it didn't... in short, you have one amazing story here, one that I'll most likely always remember forever.

I'm one of those lurkers you mentioned in that long note at the end of this chapter. You haven't updated in a long time! Not at all this year (well, 2009 just started so...)
