Next to that, you probably won't believe it, but She walks in beauty was the very first English poem I read, some five years ago. You made me relive that particular afternoon quite unexpectedly. At that time I didn't comprehend half of what's in the poem, but I loved it nonetheless. Rest assured that now that I understand more of it, I love it even more too. Thanks for making me remember!

Hey, I've enjoyed this story so far but I just wanted to tell you that something is messed up with Chapter 8. Not all of it appears on the screen. I don't know why, but it's kind of annoying because I don't know what happened. But this is really good!

WOW! This has got to be the best SS/HG fic I have read to date. You managed to keep the tone of the characters perfectly in sync. Never turning Snape into fluff, but letting his haunted past and his desire to be good be seen. What you portrayed of Hermione is exactly how I see her. She is years ahead of her friends, losing contact with those around her because of the vast difference in desires.

Well done! I can't think of any other way to put it.

I am just beginning my first SS/HG fanfic and I hope it will be 1/2 as good as this.

Just found this story-the first chapter sounds promising. After all, Snape is still the man who killed Dumbledore, and is probably treated that way by most around here (with, one hopes, a few exceptions).
