You are amazing! The Baron is just perfect and Haru is pretty awesome. I'm so glad that you put that Baron belonged to the Jade Palace. It's so fitting!

I can not believe my utter disregard for fine writings. This is the second time I've read through this and only now have just realized I have not properly thanked you for the enjoyable read. My sincere apologies.
This is a wonderful story thank you. And sorry for my lateness in reviewing. Keep it up!

| Susan chapter 5 . 1/24/2011
Again, a lovely tale, based on themes that seem to stretch through the ages, regardless of culture. The contest portion reminds me of "The White Cat", a French fairytale. At any rate, I've found that most stories in this genre are quite thoughtful, but I have found yours to be the most sensitively themed and written. This is, in this person's eyes, at least, as befits the original story. I also much prefer the Baron to keep his form; when the heart's desire is true, the will finds ways to cross boundaries. Thank you for this sweet story.
From Susan, who alas, has no tales to offer in return
