beautiful. totally agree with you, by the way. dunno whether the guys were drunk (maybe), but there is evidence of a council sitting around deciding what to keep and throw out. most people refuse to learn or believe that. ~shrugs~ never mind that all those rules and such directly contradict each other.
love the last few lines. :)

I really like the sentiment behind this, the Psalms do fit very well. I'm with Duo, they might be stories, but they do still have something to say, even to 'a bunhc of blaspheming, murderous sodomites'!

Beautiful. Just beautiful. You're right about the poetry in the Psalms. And your writing is impeccable. The Christians have such an interesting culture. I can appreciate the literary spirit of the Psalms and Bible, even not being Christian. I love how you connect it with Duo and his Catholic upbringing, and use first person narrative to such great effect. It certainly fits him better than a lot of the stuff I've read on this site.
