|Reviews for Consanguinity|
| InfinityIllusion chapter 10 . 2/4
Truly, this is a work of art. I love how you've given insight to Virgil's character, fleshed him out and made him your own. Everything flows well and I think it's almost like watching the scenes play out in front of me on some large movie screen (but better, because it's written and in my mind).
| Blatantly Queer chapter 10 . 7/28/2013
This is amazing. Your writing is impressive, staggering and harrowing. Not to mention beautiful. Your characterization is incredible too. You had my knees buckling with emotion, among other things.
Seriously. Never stop writing. 3

| JuxtaposedAlbatross chapter 10 . 6/22/2012
I am incoherent. But in love. Definitely, definitely in love.
Thank you so much for sharing this - it's the best D/V fic I've read in my life!
| Arya May chapter 10 . 6/20/2012
Beautiful. Utterly beautiful.
| youngwriter123 chapter 1 . 3/2/2012
A beautiful chapter I must say :D
Wow, this story is incredibly interesting and I find it so intriguing that you decided to write about when Mundus captured Vergil and even adding in Trish. I love their interactions and I think you got everything spot on.
I'm very pleased with how well this was written as well XD, you really don't know how good it feels to read something well-written and to read something where you have to stop and look up the definition of some words once in a while. It's great so thank you.
I also love the very subtle humor that you added in this chapter as well that you didn't cast Trish off to the side, considering that this is a slash story. It's more realistic. Anyway, I really love where this is going and I find it incredibly insightful and interesting!
Gah! I also must admit that I cannot wait to read chapter 2. Till next time.
| Soluus chapter 10 . 12/28/2011
This whole fic is sublime in the best way possible. It left me majorly inspired and is the -magnum opus- per se behind my current True Blood fic "Stupre". I love the portrayal of Vergil here: It's very refreshing to read about a Vergil that I can recognise. His pain is apparent and you can tap into it very easily; that's something very hard to pull off and you've achieved it perfectly. I love Dante here as well, as well as the dynamic between the two. A lot of the time you see lovey-dovey relationships between the brothers but you deal a dose of reality. I absolutely ADORE this whole thing. A masterpiece.
| Ivory Tears chapter 10 . 7/30/2011
Beautiful story. I loved their characterizations. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this.
| Kirrae chapter 10 . 6/28/2011
This is so beautiful and wonderfully written that I pretty much have no words. Very little to say about this other than I react to it on a visceral level and I hope, in time, I will understand why.
| CuzHot chapter 10 . 2/24/2011
...This story was... breathtaking. The way you write is just amazing it's so detailed and smooth and advanced... I think this is the first time i've been put into a literary high. I couldn't stop reading and even though the language was so difficult and formal, I got all the humor and seriously enjoyed myself. I'm not just saying this. This is one of the best stories I've ever read. Thank you for writing it.
| Opacus chapter 10 . 2/13/2011
I just had to come back and read this story to comment once more. This is the story that broke this pairing to me, and made it my one of my favorite pairings in all of fanfiction. Brilliant piece of work. A masterpice of literature I tell you. I near tear up at the end when I read it, and its just wonderful and powerfully emotional. Everyone should read this.
| Epsilon Vega chapter 1 . 7/6/2010
..And then I realized I /never left a review./
I've read a lot of fanfiction. Too much, probably. And you know what? I always come back to this. I don't consider it fanfiction; it's literature. It's that good. Your characterization of Vergil(and Dante, actually, but Mr. Freeze first and foremost) and this telling of his(their) history has become my cannon. I've read this so many times, lines from here and there have been nailed into my memory. I'm not really sure what I can say here to do you justice. I've quite literally /cried/ tears of joy over your use of language. There's a reason Vergil's my favorite character, and Consanguinity is that reason.
Although I would request one thing: a latin glossary would be helpful. Trying to look up the latin phrases on my own ultimately proved frustrating. I also encourage you to double-check it. "Edo et amo," for instance. Looking it up, I found 'to eat and to love.' Given the circumstance, it doesn't sound quite right...Or wait. Maybe it /does./
Regardless, you're brilliant, and you've made my life a little more brilliant by association. I wish you luck in whatever you choose to do.
| Barranca chapter 10 . 6/9/2010
Vergil is the coolness of deep, still waters and he seems to be content with what life happens to throw at him, to mold it to his liking - so unlike Dante, so similar to the marble of angels. Isn't it funny we think of angels when encountered with impartiality and disassociation, and devils where fieriness is concerned, when Dante is the one that much more human than demonic. I enjoyed the read :)
| Nyix chapter 10 . 5/21/2010
Would you believe me if I said this was one of the best/hottest/sexiest fanfiction I've read in the DMC fandom? I enjoyed how Vergil was "speaking" to Dante throughout. You managed to portray their relationship, breathtakingly. The tension and the thin line between pain and pleasure...that's exactly the sort of spice a DMC fanfic should have. I would definitely like to read more of your stories in the future. Kudos.
