Sorry it accidentally posted. A Space Force made from the Air Force would be created with some elements of the Navy but therefore it would not be the navy that will control the space fleet. Admittedly it would not be the Air Force ethier but there you go.
| A Reader chapter 2 . 3/24/2016
Why is it that every writer of any stargate story thinks that the navy will eventually take control of the burgeoning space fleet of earths? Why I ask. I'll tell you right now that the navy will not have control over the the ships. For the same reason that the army and or navy are not in control of the Air Force. Post disclosure would have a new military branch an Space For

A nice crossover, don't seen many that are good with Babylon 5, and the few that are, are abandoned by writers or removed. Still China is going to become a problem, there is truth, but their government wants power and maybe more.

Garibaldi and O'Neill in the same universe. Is the universe big enough for all that snark.
| Blanko Fett chapter 2 . 1/10/2011
The thing to do would be to abolish the Air Force, seeing as it no longer has a mission of tactical and strategic flying in the atmosphere, and merge the relevant people into a new Fleet in the Naval Service with the proper ranks and AF security guards running commando missions on other planets is ludicrous. The AF is descended from the Army and really should go back to the Army now that missiles have taken over their offensive role. The Army can't run ships.
| Isis the Sphinx chapter 21 . 11/3/2009
Well! Certainly one Heck of a story.
I like the plot and character developments, but there's one thign you ABSOLUTELY need to work on to make it easier for readers. Make your paragraphs smaller in formatting. Reading through paragraphs that take up half the screen is not fun. Hit the enter key every now and then. More than you have been. Such big paragraphs hurt the eyes and make it hard to read. Other than that and a couple of typos here and there, this was really not too bad.

Well, speaking as a fan of both the Stargate universe and the Babylon 5/Crusade universe, I can't help but enjoy seeing these characters interact. I haven't finished reading this, but I have every intention of doing so. You've managed to adapt several scenes from the original program quite well, and done a fair job of presenting everyone's personalities - I can't wait to see Rodney and Ivanova interact.
This isn't perfect - I've seen several typographical errors and a few bits of odd research problems, especially with the exact timing for Hayes' election to the presidency, but nothing truly serious. That said, I look forward to finishing this and reading its follow-up.

Good story, so far. I no nothing about Babylon 5, but I still like it. There are a few minor errors in here, but the biggest thing that annoys me is you spelt it Shepherd when it is really spelt Sheppard.
