|Reviews for Road to Redemption: The Mask of a Hero|
| Sonra chapter 8 . 12/27/2012
Wow The first fanfiction with Artemis and Jarlaxle that made me cry. Very good all in all, the fight scene could use some more detail but the more important is the emotions. Which you brought across excellently.
| Andi chapter 8 . 2/28/2008
Aw great fanfic. I absolutely adore their odd little friendship and you write it out wonderfully. On to the next part!
| SchattenTanzer chapter 8 . 1/19/2007
That was awesome!
| Surreptitious Chi X chapter 8 . 7/6/2006
That is terrific. This is a much more pleasing outcome than the first story, because it builds on it. I am praying for another good story, because I am now invested in seeing Artemis and Jarlaxle's further character development in your stories.
| Surreptitious Chi X chapter 2 . 7/6/2006
That puts a grin on my face. Him having enough of a conscience or a need to refuse the money until he derives greater satisfaction from his actions, or beats Socor? Terrific.
| Surreptitious Chi X chapter 1 . 7/6/2006
This is the beginning of another good story. I hope that it is as good as the first one, and illuminates more. It's rare to have a fanfiction author actually concerned with logically and skillfully sewing up holes in the garment of other published writer's stories. Most people would let the story go in rags.

“The Mask of a Hero” was finished on May 31, 2004.
And over two years later I stumble across it, a new fan of Forgotten Realms, and enjoy it incredibly! Thank you very much for sharing this story.

I think that may have been my favorite of the stories I've read so far. I liked how Artemis realized Jarlaxle was manipulating, and they both had to face their feelings. The fighting scenes you do are always really good. If I may pose a question? Are you going to write another story after The Sacrifice for Salvation? Please do! I haven't gotten there yet, but I already want more! I am so putting you on my favorite authors list. I've done an angsty fruits basket story, but I think it's really bad. In the second story of this series, you did the whole angst-ish/torture stuff really well. Once again, kudos! Please tell me if you're continuing this series!
| Ashen Triskel chapter 8 . 1/2/2006
*cheers them both* This is a rare instance in which the sequel is even better than the original story. Congrats.
| Ashen Triskel chapter 4 . 1/2/2006
I really wish I knew who Dwahvel was... it would have made this chapter make so much more sense.
| Nariel chapter 8 . 11/22/2005
This story was...fantastic. just bloody fantastic. So that you know.
I'd better continue reading, instead of bothering you with silly reviews.
| Nariel chapter 7 . 11/22/2005
Thanks God...or rather, thank you for having the next chapter online...
| Nariel chapter 5 . 11/22/2005
So... Jarlaxle needs his heart protected?
This sounds "positively scandalous"...
| Nariel chapter 4 . 11/22/2005
Uh-Oh... that went beyond the usual banter...
I completely adore your characterization of these two, you know?
| Nariel chapter 3 . 11/22/2005
Hooray, Kimmuriel! I adore Kimm! Menzoberranzan's hottest psionicist...
/A voice nagged at the back of Nari's mind: "he's Menzoberranzan's ONLY psionicist..."/
Oh, shut up.
Not you! Will Kimm appear again?
Loved how Entreri stopped the scrying. See, you don't have to be a mage... ha!
