|Reviews for Two Out of Three Ain't Bad|
| Lily chapter 1 . 9/22/2007
Definitely not repulsed...I think its great that you explored their relationship, and included the Remus angle (and how Tonks and Sirius feel about him). I especially liked how you had Tonks morph into different women to make up for all the years Sirius was in prison.
| Imhereforever chapter 1 . 9/18/2007
Defiantly not repulsed. I liked it i think people should go more into a relationship with sirius and tonks. I still love the whole remus tonks thing but i think sirius and tonks go better.
| HorcruxFinder chapter 1 . 9/2/2007
Totally not repulsed. I think they would be cute together even though I am a big Lupin/Tonks shipper. During HBP I was secretly hoping tonks was in love w/ sirius. If JKR was willing to recognize them as a possible couple, then there is nothing to be repulsed about.
| theotherchick chapter 1 . 8/25/2007
Not repulsed. Remus was an idiot. Muy Caliente!
| sk3l3punk chapter 1 . 8/7/2007
I thought it was good, regardless of your negative reviews. They are second cousins, and in a lot of places that sort of thing's ok. I think people read these sort of things when there against it just so they can complain about something.
| Sairahiniel chapter 1 . 8/1/2007
Awe! That was crazy! Amazing though. Very amazing. You're an excellent writer and I always thought about the idea for Sirius/Tonks ship. I'm more of Remus/Nymph but I liked this alot XD
| Reading Redhead chapter 1 . 7/13/2007
Hm...I actually read this thinking I might be repulsed, but your author's note at the top made me decide to give it a chance. And here I am, actually rather intrigued. I'm a firm Lupin/Tonks shipper, myself, but that's probably one of the best-written stories I've read in a while. I'd say that 99 percent of the M-rated stories on this site are the written equivalent of porn, with plots to match, but yours had reason to it. I also like how you didn't ignore the canon fact that Tonks likes Lupin. Thank you so much! I'm not about to change ships...but I know I'll be reading more of your work in the future!
| CoCo82 chapter 1 . 6/16/2007
Definitely intrigued! I have to say that I could buy them as a couple (and obviously JKR and therefore HP could as well). Even up until a hundred to two hundred years ago people were marrying and reproducing with their first cousins and that was seen as totally normal. I don't know, maybe other people might think I am sick but like I said, I buy it. Great job!
| Bumblebookie chapter 1 . 6/15/2007
Defiantly intriguing, for sure, I'm not normally one for the incest thing but you wrote it very nicely here. And the fact that Tonks can change her body makes it slightly more exceptionable.
Always dare to take risks!
| obsessmuch chapter 1 . 6/10/2007
WOW! This was bloody amazing, one of the best fics I've read in a long while! You've written the perfect 'two reall good friends that get pissed together, have a laugh together and have fatastic friend sex' fic, and I absolutely loved it! There just aren't enough Sirius/Tonks fics out there! Thanks so much for writing this!
| Tryptophan36 chapter 1 . 6/9/2007
I know this review is a bit late, but I got into fanfiction kinda late in the game. I beg your forgiveness! Anyway, my vote goes for intriguing! I know a lot of folk were kinda freaked about the cousin aspect, but its not like they grew up together or anything. Sirius spent how many years in prison? and even before that Tonks' mom was persona non grata in Sirius' house. I doubt they even really met each other before Sirius was out of prison and Tonks joined the Order.
Someone said in a review that they thought Sirius wouldn't think "cousin love" was ok since he wouldn't do what any of the Blacks would do, but it's not just the Blacks, its all of the pureblood families (including the ones on the side of the light). Sirius grew up with the idea that marrying your cousin was a perfectly normal and acceptable thing. It wasn't a Black family tradition, but a completely normal aspect of wizarding culture. He seemed pretty resigned to the idea when he was explaining it to Harry. I always thought he was more disgusted with the airs that the nastier pureblood families put on, rather than the idea of cousins marrying. It's just hard sometimes for people (readers) to put on their culture hats and really try to see things from the perspectives of the characters. Don't let any reviews from closed-minded people get you down. Fantastic work!
| Tigere47 chapter 1 . 5/23/2007
I really liked it. Nice thinking.
| A Sirius Fan chapter 1 . 5/11/2007
I loved this. I feel the same way about this pairing that you do, and wish more people wrote it. Apparently, marrying cousins isn't such a big deal in England the way it is here, so it could have happened. I thought your story was imaginative and erotic, and as I said, I loved it. I looked at your other stories, and was disappointed to see that you hadn't written any other Sirius/Tonks or Sirius/anybody. Wish you would. If you don't want to write Sirius/Tonks again, how about Sirius/Hestia Jones or Sirius/Emmeline Vance, or Sirius/Sinestra, or Sirius/one of the authors of the spellbooks? It'd be okay with me if you ignored his death too.;)
Oh, I forgot to mention: I loved that Tonks used her metamorph abilities while making love. So many shy away from that, thinking she would be offended to be asked, which I don't understand. She doesn't seem to be the type to shy away from anything, and seems to glory in being what she is. Anyway, hope to see something Sirius from you soon because this was great.
| ProperT chapter 1 . 1/23/2007
I thought this was great! As long as you don't overdue it, the cousin lovin as i call it, is cool. And at least it didn't backfire on them. Great One Shot!
| Jess chapter 1 . 1/16/2007
That was sweet. You can write well. I'm glad it was erotic but not so overboard like some shit I've read. I had actually thought of writing something similar once. Sirius is a sexy devil and you captured his personality wonderfully. Kudos.
