|Reviews for Paper Moon|
| justthedoctor chapter 1 . 6/22/2011
I am aware that you typically emphasize the factors of the House/Wilson relationship that make it the angsty, broken mess it is.
That being said, "Paper Moon" has been a part of my head-cannon for years. It comfortably eases from the arc's reality to slash, stretching out small painful moments into something oddly comforting.
The potential for happiness isn't blemished. There are only soft, longing hints that lull me into truly believing in whatever cloying romcom ending I please, cliches be damned.
The strange thing? It works. You've described Wilson's existence so bleakly, I can't help but feel that any joy he finds with House will be deserved, no matter how over-the-top.
This is the gold standard of pre-slash.

That was great! Just great! Though the slash put me off. Either way the tie was brilliant. if only i could've seen the look on his patients' faces when they saw the tie.

That was absolutely perfect. I have no words. Definetly going on my favourites list.
| Grim Lupine chapter 1 . 9/25/2006
This is...raw, seems the best word for it. Powerful and raw, and a heartbreaking depiction of what happens when a relationship falls and tries to pretend like it's still there. Amazing job.
| Diana chapter 1 . 6/21/2006
