| Harry2 chapter 4 . 11/6/2005
Well, well, well. It looks as though Kitty has managed to earn some respect from Spike. And I know Spike well enough to know that he is VERY hard on people, so to earn his respect is saying something! Now, on to the mission and take out that base!

So, we have a mayor in Sunnydale who, like Bruce Wayne, has some secrets to keep. At least, he tried to inform Wayne as to what is going on in this little town.

Some friendly advice Buffy: DO NOT piss of Lockheed! He can be a good ally, but a DEADLY enemy when upset! And with his penchant for taking out the bad guys, you, Kitty and he had best become good friends!

Its interesting to see that in redoing this story, you've kept the song titles, but took down the song lyrics. Lets see if we might have a chance to see the DREAM hacker team in action: Kitty and Willow!
| Louie Pastiche chapter 5 . 11/5/2005
Yes, Batman does have a lot of room to talk. Because, he was doubtless speaking from his own earliest experiences with Jim Gordon (back when the latter was detective lieutenant). Plus, bigotry is a double-edged sword. Victims of it can become even worse bigots, themselves! A classic example would be Pietro, alias Quicksilver. Initially, he badmouthed his sister's romance with the android Vision every chance he got!
So, while Kitty is perfectly justified in feeling the way she does, she should still be careful that she doesn't become a bigger Nietzchean monster than the ones the X-men fight. And, bravo, to you, for being so thought-provoking.

First, the nitpicks. Sunnydale is NORTH of Los Angeles. And, Batman's hometown is GOTHAM City.
Secondly, the praise. You're reposting of this story has not ruined it, in the slightest. The suspense is appropriately agonizing. And, the characters are perfectly in canon with how they're portrayed in their actual media. Although, I side with Buffy's need to break-and-enter Kitty's dorm room. Considering what that Goth-looking soul stealer tried to do!

I wonder if Mayor Dekor's "lazy right eye" can read minds? LOL!

As Nightrcrawler might say: "Fantastiche!"

Great revamp. Although, you're still hyphenating Batman's name. Which would only be correct if you were writing about the Golden Age (1940's) version!
