![]() ![]() ![]() I just wish you'd had keep writting in this line of time. Specially having Jason being part of Bruce and Dick's life. But well, it was an excellent story, I really like it how they reconciliated and the way Barbara find out about Dick's identity, and how they keep having feelings for each other. Seriously, you should keep writting aboutthe bat family :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Loved it. I like the different interpretation. Sometimes I'm skeptical, and I can be a purist, when it comes to Batman and Robin, but I know a good story when I read one. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Nice. A very different look at Batman's history, but a good read all the same. I enjoyed the series. Although, I have to say that Dick and Babs are my favorite characters, and I would have liked to see a little more of them together. But I did have fun reading this. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wow... yeah, I'm just going to go with "wow." I have now read the entire series... all at once, at extraordinarily early in the morning because I tried the first one on whim, was hooked and though I wasn't too sure of the second one, I still fell in love by the end of it. I have to say though, Chilled was my favorite. I meant to leave a review at every story but then decided against it. I hope you do not mind too much. It's an amazing series. The characterizations, the dynamics... the lack of definable plotholes (though there was one that I cannot jump on board with, which was the random act of Barbara already having the Batgirl suit all ready for when bad stuff happens... but whatever, she was necessary for the complete circle feeling). This story was a wonderful ending to a wonderful series. I like how it was told from several different points of view - Dick's, Bruce's, Kathy's, Harvey's, etc... That just made it even better. And I liked how connected they all were. I read Harvey's journal entries about four times because of the one where he mentioned how sorry he was for Bruce, trying to figure out what he was talking about, poking at it, analyzing it, and then finally giving up and moving onto the next story, only to realize that the answer was right there. I think if I had to sum this series up in one word, it would be "wonderful." Thank you for writing this. |
![]() ![]() ![]() OMIGOSH, this was SO good! Pretty much like reading one of the comics, really well done. It's a spinoff of that really old story, right? Very nice! I will be looking for more of your stuff. |
![]() ![]() ![]() I honestly love all of your stories and I regret the fact that this was the last installment. It makes me wish that the DC Batman went along with your story-line. It was bloody-brilliant. I love it. Keep it up! Deu sa |
![]() ![]() ![]() Congratulations on an excellent story! I enjoyed it from beginning to end. Great job, Camille! I was wondering whether Bruce would take the antidote or decide to tough it out. It's good to see Dick and Bruce resuming their old partnership and Dick deciding to stay. Wanderlust can only go so long... It would have been interesting to see an 'afterwards' conversation between Dick and Barbara, but we can always let imagination work on that. Nice little touch with the Robin on the tree :) And yes, you've definitely improved upon the Starman outfit :) Again, great work from you. You really are a wonderful writer. Greetings from Dany |
![]() ![]() ![]() I do like the way Bruce wants to try out life without the antidote, since he seemed to control it. That seems to fit in to his character. It's nice to see Bruce's character change throughout this story in a subtle but believable way as well. I hope you write some more Batfics someday! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Aww. *pouts* I don't WANT this to be over! Good conclusion, though; very well handled with insights on both sides. Nice work! |
![]() ![]() ![]() An excellent ending to a truly excellent story. I do hope you continue writing 'Bat' related fic even though this particular series has ended. Paula |
![]() ![]() ![]() Great chapter! I love the ending where he finally confronts his fear. Good believable dialogue between all the characters as well and a nice way of showing Batgirls first encounter with some thugs... I look forward to the next chapter! |
![]() ![]() ![]() very nice and intense chapter! You did a great job with the description of the apartment building and especially the fight scenes (btw. 'un-dined-on' sounds just like a word I would use *grin*) The dialogues were excellent and witty, as always. Love Catwoman's many bat-jabs! (I now picture a bloodhound dressed in a cowl and cape as the perfect pet for Bruce) Nice twist with Barbara and Dick ultimately revealing their identities to each other. I wonder how that will change their relationship now... And excellent job on Star/Batman's struggle to overcome his phobia in the presence of the Scarecrow. You've shown him beat almost overwhelming odds while at the same time kept him 'human' enough to know that he hadn't beaten it completely yet. Great read! Dany |
![]() ![]() ![]() Very good! Love it! (And sorry, out of time ...) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Good to see Batwoman turning up at the end! Nicely done conversation about Batman's fear as well, it sounds very realistic, like the survivorship syndrome stuff. I look forward to the next chapter! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I do like the thoughts Barbara has about Superman and her Dad! It also seems that Catwoman has turned bad. I like the little interaction between her and Scarecrow... Also a nice twist at the end with Starman! |
