What a fresh take. Quiet heroes, eh? I really loved this.
| Brazen Device chapter 1 . 6/30/2008
Before every beginning, there is an ending. This is it. Lovely work, it was simple in format and spot-on in speculation.
| hA-UkA chapter 1 . 3/2/2008
An interesting introspective piece
| Pam t3h Spam chapter 1 . 1/18/2008
There is a bitingly sweet succintness in the way you write that makes all your points fly straight and true. The prose is unadorned, unashamed, and starkly beautiful. Love it! I'm *always* on the lookout for (realistic) portrayals of this romance, and that's exactly what you wrote. Even without the facts of canon, you stayed true to the emotion.
| Charu chapter 1 . 7/22/2007

| Charu chapter 1 . 7/22/2007
This is just breathtakingly beautiful ...
It has a great summary, which sucked me in and the story's just ... a masterpiece .
Kikyou's line of thinking is spot on: the angst,confusion...is mixed perfectly.
I had to read it quite a number of times to actually understand it , but no matter how many times I read it ,I always get that same feeling of astonishment , respect for kikyou and the author and that deep satisfaction of getting to read a marvellous piece of work .
Your writing flows effortlessly , is thought-provoking and its one without equal.
The title finally made sense to me at the end - That one does not always need to be a hero whose heroic deeds are known to all . Just simply understanding can make us those quiet heroes , with no one ever needing to know.
I think that after meeting Inuyasha , Kikyou started questioning her own humanity . Is she any different than a beast? Who kills without reason simply because she has to?
But the fact remained that Kikyou always doubted her relationship with Inuyasha , she just couldnt trust anyone as she is always independant and i think that misunderstanding broke them they were just 2 minunderstood souls who helped each other out in the little time they had.
Kikyou's character is seriously underrated and I'm really happy to find a fic which stays true to character , is unbiased and depicts her feelings accurately.
You know ... the ending made me shed a tear . It was that GOOD!
Thanks for sharing such a wonderful thought with us .
This is fanfiction at its best .
KUDOS to YOU :)
An overemotional 12 yr old
| Killshea KavaniCandelabra chapter 1 . 6/28/2006
Really really sad.
| VenatusFraus chapter 1 . 4/26/2006

| Details chapter 1 . 4/14/2006
VERY nicely done. I really enjoyed your portrayal of Kikyo's character.
And Inuyasha/Kikyo is always interesting.
| Mistress-of-eternal-Darkness chapter 1 . 4/8/2006
wow! that;s all i can say! that was just awesome! totally tells of the truth of the supposed tragedy...maybe it is a tragedy...or maybe it's a blessing...that they didn't use the Shikon Jewel in the end...that they couldn't like together happily ever after...*sigh* you gave me a new perspective on the scene...
great writing...really... painful yet explanitive at he smae time...
| Jasi chapter 1 . 3/20/2006
What would possess you to write something like a KikyoxInuyasha fic? Don't you know that there is no chance whatsoever of those two ending up together?
Inuyasha and Kagome Forever!

| Vantrika chapter 1 . 12/3/2005
I could write a long, flowery review, but I'm not going to.
STIRRING. That is all I am going to say.
| unheard screams chapter 1 . 11/17/2005
Your stories are more then just things that we use to please or appeal to us. They stick with us, and become part of us. Each one teaches a little lesson. I hope you can see this.
| Bloom Flower chapter 1 . 11/13/2005
I like it! Very nice! :)
