I'm blown away by the skill required, and the effort you've put in to write these in the language of the books. They have been a true pleasure to read aloud, even acknowledging the likelyhood that I'm butchering the translation. The first is my favorite, but the lines about the rivers into the sea echo strongly in my mind. The combination of this ancient art form and this (ancient) language is smooth and intuitive, and incredibly well done. Bravo.

wow. i attempted to learn elvish, but alas, schoolwork is too demanding. i can't wait for my exams to end so i can try again. Tolkein's gift is just so awesome, no? i hope to one day be able to not just rely on the translations because translations just lack the oomph of the original language.
all your poems(i admit i could only appreciate the form and sound of the original poems) are really good though, but i like hymn best. the imagery packs a punch. i sure wouldn't mind a valentine poem like that *laugh*
i'm so impressed, i'm favourite-ing you! D

They are all beautiful, but I really love Lith/Ashes.
