Oh no, no no no nooo, Lucius you dunderhead! I distictly remember this chapter because of Lucius' messiness (? Disorganization?) but forgot that this was the dramatic exit chapter. I thought Dumbledore was the cause of that exit but obv misremebered. Sad chapter, not looking forward to the holidays because poor Harry is going through the wringer.

Nooooo not the cold state! Don't do it Snape! Just because you understand what being a parent is like doesn't mean you can fly off the handle and do as your vengence demands. Feeling small and helpless and unable to aide your child is a PART of parenting. This chapter was action packed and thrilling! Off I zoom to the next chapter!

Oh boy oh boy oh boy*/deep sigh/* Albus, you dodo bird. Severus is right, making him hate bindings and webs is literally pushing Harry to be the Vates you fear most. He's only slightly/partially putting Connor first bc of the web, but mostly because he was trained and Made to believe that Connor comes above his own needs and self. Since he was 3 or 4 years old. This is going to come bight you in the ass, and I will be all the more fiercely glad for it!

YES YES! THE TIGER IS FREE! That last line always gets me. Please, move the mountains. I was waiting half a book for that line. It's stupendous and pivotal and shattering. This chapter is so good and give us a glimpse into Draco outside of his obsession with Harry. Well done.
