I have this story downloaded and have reread it so many times ive lost count. Thank you for sharing your amazing gift and allowing me to occasionally hide within it.

Have you ever considered cross posting this on AO3? I've reread this story so many times, and I always forget it's on this website and not AO3, lol. Inevitably leaving me frantically searching for it and thinking it got deleted. I believe this would become an instant hit because:
1) It's an original story idea
2) It's fantastically written
3) It's completed

I'm not sure if you're still active on here or will ever read this. You might just be happy where it is and that's okay! I just wanted you to know this is my favorite Inuyasha fanfic and if I could print and bind it, I would display it on my bookshelf with pride. I hope you are doing well!

This is still a fantastic story. The deaths still bring tears to my eyes.

I love this story! I love the relationship between Kag and Sess - it was well-paced and believable. There were times when Sess got emotional, and it just FIT because of how much time had passed and how much he matured. The scene with Kano at the grocery store was well done, too. An excellent story - I'll favorite it/bookmark it and I'll soon re-read it again. :-)

Your notes about 'A Single Spark' really makes me think about my childhood and how much I *loved* that website. Wonderful chapter and I love the pace of Kagome and Sesshoumaru's relationship. I wish more authors incorporated the life-extension-through-mating concept in their writings - it's really touching as opposed to letting the human in the relationship die and the demon living on and on without them.

Modern Sesshoumaru is everything. To hear David Kaye (Sesshoumaru's English voice actor) say: "Well, with everything's that has happened, the timing quite honestly sucks," it would be EVERYTHING. Oh, if only that could happen, lol! Great chapter, as usual!

This chapter made me cry. The scene with InuYasha's final moments made me tear up immediately. The chapter ended on a good note. Very touching~

Your portrayal of Naraku was excellent - I could actually envision him saying each line you wrote. (I do wish we got some parting words from him when Kikyo revealed that she was going to commit suicide...but maybe his lack of response to her final actions means that we'll somehow see him again...? Hm, I'm intrigued!) Either way, great chapter!

I LOVE this part:

"A thousand emotions went into the embrace and flowed between them, and when he whispered into her ear, "This Sesshoumaru apologizes for hurting you," he
slowly felt her small hands creep up his back to grip his coat,
holding onto him for dear life. He could not resist running his
claws through her soft hair and giving her a quick nuzzle on the top
of her head."

And I 100% love this story. I was hooked since chapter 1! You are an exceptional writer. Your portrayals of Sesshoumaru and Kagome are excellent.
