I laughed when Katara thanked Aang at the end here, because since Zuko defeated Ozai and Katara defeated Azula, Aang was pretty useless in this war. Why is she thanking him?

I could stop reading even it was 1 am and had today school! I just had to read it and i'm glad i did it 'cause it was worth of it. I love Zuko x Katara pairing and loved how you build the romance between them. :)

One thing I really like about this chapter is the way Katara and Zuko act much older than they are with the resistance. One great example was when Katara thinks that Shing is so young as if she were an old veteran of the war, even though she is only 2-3 years older than him.

It is also interesting seeing Zuko's actions around the army, you did a really good job of conveying the way he has a certain air of command with your writing. I loved reading about his speeches both to the army in the previous chapter and to the prisoners in this one. They both were very good and showed the way he acted as if he were in command far longer than he had been.

Keep up the good work.

This was an absolutely BRILLIANT story the characterization, the plot, the FEELS. I don't know about you, but I'm a sucker for the whole cuddling together at night thing. And who can forget Iroh chuckling about grandchildren? And of course there is so much more. Everything is perfect. PERFECT.

Okay, this is literally the most wonderful thing in the world ever. An absolute work of art as writing goes. I love the show so much and the characters just make my day.
