I can so imagine those two arguing over who's the greatest like that. Gah, musicians. The drama that revolves around my choir is phenomenal. Nice touch with Tinfang Warble/Gelion, by the way. I really enjoyed this! Nicely done!

I love this. Maglor and Daeron sound like such a pair of arrogant rock stars.

I loved this! Glad to see my favorite minstrels, and it seems Daeron can be just as snooty as a Noldor. The idea was good, and the verbal sparring was very good. The ending was a bit...abrupt? And adding mention of Galadriel set the timeline. I thought this would be a good series, though, this is a good "first chapter".

I like it. As Daeron's fellow flautist, I felt impelled to root for him from the start, but as this little story continued I became less polarized and started really smiling at the easy flow of the dialogue and how it revealed the narrative's course (and not vice versa). Tinfang's quietness in comparison to the Maglor vs. Daeron bicker-session is especially funny. Nicely done.

How clever to bring in Tinfang Warble along with the other two "greatest" musicians; I've never seen him before in fanfiction, which is rather a loss. Very silly argument... but altogether too plausible, sad to say, knowing our two favorite musicians.
