![]() ![]() ![]() Eager to see Sanzo and Yaone, I went to your livejournal and never found the continuation. Has it been posted? |
![]() ![]() ![]() What awsome story! I fell in love with this paring (who is so rare alas...) thanks it! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Who still here at 2017 lolll |
![]() ![]() ![]() nice |
![]() ![]() ![]() I am totally in love with this story and really happy that I found it! it took me a while to read through it but I finally did it and now I need to praise you! you are a wonderful person! |
![]() ![]() Good Lord. I thought this crack pairing's... I've shipped them since 3rd grade... Wow. Somebody made a good fic about them. I'm so cry. |
![]() ![]() ![]() So, what to say? This is the BEST FF I've EVER read, I swear! Not just the best Sayuki FF but the best of all at ALL! Sanzo wasn't OC maybe a little in the end but still him. Beautiful story, beautiful end... Just beautiful. You did an AWSOME job! Congrats! |
![]() ![]() Oh my god, nimbl It is 1:40 AM and I've just spent pretty much 14 hours in a row (with the occasional bathroom and food breaks) reading this awesome story. Sanzo will forever be my favourite of the four (I can't believe I'm saying this since I don't usually go for the blondes). Though the story did drag a bit with the chapters that stuck quite close to the manga, I think you did a great job of expanding on each of the character's thoughts. It's amazing how 'in character' all of your stories are. I must go back and re-read some of the chapters with the thought of SanzoxYaone in mind. You've definitely enlightened me with this pairing and I was so hoping for a smut scene at the end [drools at the thought of wild and heated make-up sex; Yaone surprising Sanzo even more by taking the dominant role *fans self* (with Sanzo's fan hahah)]. But now I can't make up my mind; SanzoxYaone vs HakkaixYaone vs SanzoxHakkai? Maybe you can throw the three in together? :P Has the thought ever crossed your mind? |

![]() ![]() ![]() After much deliberation, I finally got to save each chapter in my laptop and have all of them printed and bound. So I've been reading this fanfiction as a book for at least one month now and I just needed to come out here and say it again: THIS IS A MASTERPIECE THAT DESERVES A PLAUDIT. I remember the first time I encountered you and how I was instantly spell-bound by the crisp brutality and tender sensitivity of your prose in this particular work. I remember that this is the very first romantic story I really related to and it never disappointed me until the end. First, I must begin with how you kept all characters in right form and personality, how you explored many untapped dimensions and added quirks and snappy humor to your dialogues that made them impressionable and entertaining all throughout. Next comes the plot development; how you were faithful to the canon but still managed to pull some strings to suit your fancy and creative flow. It is astoundingly delightful! And now I go to your pairing, your choice of couple: Sanzo and Yaone. Well, I've read this like a book (literally had it bound and now even my father is curious about it and he's been asking if he could read it for himself) as I mentioned and I noticed just how great you are with the relationship you've put them into. Sanzo was the same closed-door man he has always been and Yaone has her issues too but as a couple, they resolve their insecurities together. The sex is hot, that is a give. The emotional connection is intense and quite genuine and it's one of the most interesting things in your story; how Sanzo and Yaone both grow as individuals through discovering how they feel about each other. You were very excellent with this character transition in both of them. Their feelings for each other are so realistic that you even convinced me that this is actually a canon work, that you own Saiyuki (no offense to Minekura-sensei.) I don't know how else I could put it but reading made me very vulnerable. Perhaps because you wrote the moments between Sanzo and Yaone where they shared secrets and fears very overwhelming and real that you managed to get me very hooked up into the whole conversations they have. The time they spent together made me feel like I was there and when they were apart, my heart also breaks. I apologize if it is only now that I tell you about how I irrevocably find this novel satisfactory and believe me, that is what it is. You brought out so many great things out of these two characters and you colored many gray areas with the other supporting characters as well (Hakkai, Gojyo, Goku, Kougaiji, Hazel, etc.) Everything in your writing speaks volumes of sophistication and creative thought. You have the heart and talent of an authentic artist who harvested her craft into its finest, glorious moment. I express my deepest gratitude, goddess. You are truly a crowned vision of excellence and skill! |
![]() ![]() You know, I haven't even *looked* at anything for Saiyuki in over a year or something like that, and I just recently reread the series because a friend wanted to borrow it. And while I was reading it, I thought: hey! I should go a reread Enemies, Right? because I remember it being amazing. And you know what? It really is amazing. I hadn't read the whole thing through in one-ish go before, since I was reading along with the updates, but I did this time, and really, I just couldn't put it down. I mean, you really did do an excellent job keeping everyone in character, as well as stretching Sanzo's character within the bounds allowed by canon. I don't really think I read any of this and thought 'there's no *way* he would ever do that', because you built the relationship up so well that even though the initial idea of Sanzo in a relationship is...odd...it works here. And wow, has it really been over two years since you started this thing? It doesn't really seem all that long since you asked me about whether you should go for Hakkai/Yaone or try out Sanzo/Yaone in that other story of yours. Time really passed by *way* to quickly. ...and now I sort of want to go and do some art for this story. :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() 1 day I spend reading Saiyuki, the first Saiyuki fic and I happen to pick the longest one. 24 hours later and I'm satisfied, you've woven your story so well into the canon manga and anime that I need to congradulate you. Characters were definatly represented properly, you didn't ignore any of their traits and habits but had developped them in much greater detail than even the manga had. I'll be moving onto your live journal to see where this picks up. Props to ya. Sipherous |
![]() ![]() ![]() I haven't even finished reading and I already love this story. I never really thought this pairing would work, but I like how you write. Everyone is really in character and it's funny too! Keep up the great writing! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Hey. _ I love this story , it's been on my fav.s list for a while... AMAZING, not least because you made me like a pairing I thought I'd rather throw myself off a cliff than read... but you're a great writer, with a good story! I love it Anyway... I just had a comment about the new summay? To be honest, what finally got me to try this story was the old line "It was never supposed to be like this..." At the end... Um, I know the new summary looks cleaner, and all, but I thought I'd just say that... it had been really good before, with that line. Er, okay. Done rambling now... sorry! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I nearly cried when I read the ending, but the epilogue made it all better again! Over the past few days, I've felt like I've had my hands on a few new volumes of the manga, because with the exception of the pairing (which didn't work for me before I read this), it feels like canon, particularly with the real ensemble feeling you had. It wasn't all about Sanzo and Yaone; the others all got to shine too. Absolutely fantastic job, and I'll be back to check out some of your other work later! |
