This is very good, very well paced. AND angsty, can't forget angsty. LOL
I am wondering, though, if you've read all seven books pertaining to the Chronicals of Naria, or, is this your first venture into CS Lewis's wondrous world of Aslan? Based on the nature of your poem, I would guess the latter.
If you have not read this delightful tale to its fullest, I encourage you to do so. All seven volumes come in a set, more often, and you will undoubtedly find it in a Christian bookstore, although I am certain the more secular stores will have them.
Disney does wield a bit of influence now and then. :0)
Either way, you did a nice job with this; it actually caused my throat to constrict just a iittle, but only a little, since I know the real outcome between Lucy and Narnia.
