And I love Misha that way you created her as a foxcat, very good idea. Even Misha's not afraid of Zuko and I admired her courage to sleeping with Zuko. _ it's sweet for Misha.

I'd look forward to read next chapters. I wonder what happen to Aang after Sokka and Katara in Ch. 5. Is he still trapped in Zhao's ship or Fire Nation?

never would have suspected Anko to be an earth bender... then again, she is a farmer. _ It seems like both Zuko and Anko (omg, they rhyme! x_x) have secrets of their pasts the would prefer to not reveal. Too bad for Zuko since we watch him on television! _ I'm very interested in seeing where the plot is headed...

Why doesn't this have more reviews? I mean seriously, why? It's very cool so far... first because I love Zuko-goes-it-alone fics. Second because your OC is interesting and believable (with hints of a life more interesting than a farmer's in her past.) Third because you just brought us back to Sokka and Katara, which means things will get even more fun pretty soon, I think.

I liked your descriptions of Zuko and Iroh's reactions to the renewed exile, and I liked the parting scene. I liked the villager's various theories about Zuko (especially the superstitious idea that he might be cursing them), and the details in describing Anko's bartering and haggling. I also loved the little detail that Zuko had a stubble. THERE is something a lot of ficcers forget when writing about teenage boys... that at 16 some of them have the beginnings of facial hair.

Your narrative flows well, your dialogue is interesting, and your characterization of Zuko is one the solemn side of believable. Usually I would protest that he be more proactive as a character, but you've set things up pretty well to explain his behavior- all he can do now is wait. And Zuko is definitely the kind to sulk while waiting, so it works.

Anyway, don't let too much time before updating again. I notice that in 15 days you posted 5 chapters... that makes me hopeful that the wait won't be too long. :smile:

This is a very interesting story and I truely hope you continue to right because I would love to see where it goes.

You've made an excellent oc, she is one of my favorite characters in the story.
