I found the ending disturbing, I don't know if it's because it's so non traditional or because I actually don't like it. :) Non traditional is not necessarily a bad thing. I liked the story though. There was a lot of depth.

Great story! I love how you managed to keep Severus mostly in character through the entire story. So many stories destroy his personality and mannerisms that it's always refreshing to read stories like yours. Keep up the good work.

I really liked this story. I do have one thing to say though, and that is that Anna's language is FAR above average for a 2 year old, so that seemed a bit odd. Good work overall though.

What a wonderful story- very different and bleak, yet believeable and hopeful. I have a difficult time with Hermione's not having more problem at first with realizing Snape killed Dumbledore for her. But I love how this comes out. Really well done. Thanks for sharing this.

This had been rec'd to me a few times and I had avoided it. I generally hate Captive!Hermione fics, and shy away from Traitor!Severus. I also find it rare to find a story that ignores canon to not be cliched. Nor am I a fan of darkfic. So I wasn't expecting to love this. But it's so wonderfully written, and so psychologically deft, that I did love it, read it in fact in one sitting. I don't expect we'll see more from you-not soon anyway, not seeing that note about LSATs-I know what it's like to be a One-L. All I can say is that I hope you won't give up writing-you have a gift. Great story. Really fits in with everything we know about Snape. For him, the overarching concepts of right and wrong don't matter, it's always personal.
