Oh. my. God. That was possibly the sweetest, fluffiest Remus/Tonks story ever. I’m in love with Remus, so all that time, I was able to feel Tonks’ emotions together with her. Also, I kept thinking, “Why can’t I be Tonks? Why, oh, why, can’t I be Tonks? And why does Remus have to be fictional?” He’s such a sweetie: “I’m keenly aware that I don’t really have a lot to offer a girl.” Aw…of course you do, Remmy! He’s such a gentleman and he’s so kind-hearted. Also, he has a really nice and unique sense of humor, particularly in your fanfic. And he’s the type of guy who would never laugh at a girl who embarrassed herself big time, instead he would make her feel comfortable and at ease. You can tell, I’m totally “mooning over” him, can’t you? ;)

Is this the end? If it’s not, please update cause I’m dying for more. Hm…a snog from the fanfic Remus of my choice? I choose Gentleman Remus.

I don't know where to start; this is amazing. This update has significantly improved my week, lol.

Your characterizations are spot on (IMO.) Remus is the perfect balence of emotions, Tonks adorable and witty, and Sirius is just- Sirius. :-) Your portrayl of the characters is strong and believable. Well done.

The action and pace of the story is well constructed and effortless, language is smooth and appropriate, dialogue is in character (love the Remus/Sirius banter)and the plot is believable and well thought out. Your sense of humor is appreciated, and you've placed it within the piece at perfect places. I really envy your smooth prose throughout. All three chapters have been so well written.

I love that this is set during OotP; it's a great 'missing moment.'

So, yes, you may now consider me a huge fan of your work, and I'm thinking about asking all these other lovely reviewers to start a petition with me to ask you to continue this story say... through the end of HBP? :-)

Oh Lady Bracknell, I'm delighted that you're updating. Before I review, I need to let you know that I've been reading R/T fiction for about a year and a half now so I've read alot. I mean A LOT and I have to tell you that your description of the exchange between Remus and Sirius is the best I've ever read. It just rings so true - it was funny and sweet and real. It actually brings a tear to my eye because I know that Remus is going to lose Sirius. Anyway this chapter was great - the way Remus brought up the "too old, too poor ..." was great. I love it and can't wait for more (I'm assuming/hoping there will be more). :)

ooh! there's more? HUZZAH! honeslty, i can't get enough of this. another fab chapter, just like the others! flustered and swooning tonks is so droll - but honeslty, who can blame her? it IS remus, after all! who was all witty and pithy this chappy, and quite amusing with their multiple interruptions... so amusing.

the point is, i heart this! and i am DYING for more... might their date be coming up? ooh, i sure hope so!

"He looked at her for a very long time. 'I was just giving people a chance to interrupt.'" - This is my favorite line! Once more Remus is so witty in this chapter. I love how you've written him! And it's so refreshing to have him a bit more aggressive than in other fics (although I love Tortured!Remus as much as anyone - heck, look at him in MY fanfic!). :D

I love seeing Tonks so giddy around him, and sensing it from him, too. *swoon* And I also love the banter with Sirius. You really get a sense of their long-standing harassment of one another. Nice to see how Remus occasionally turns the tables on Sirius. Wonderful!

I'm really enjoying Remus's physicalization as you describe it, how he responds to Molly's and Sirius's interruptions, rubbing his eyebrow, etc. I can just picture him. And the way he mocks Sirius's expression after "That was you?" *lol* Their interactions are very vibrant.

Can't wait for more! This is fabulous.

omg HILARIOUS."I’ll see your Sandra Hathaway and raise you a favourite cousin.” *snickers*, that is a brilliant line i laughed so hard! when he kept getting interupted, lol. and then harry interupts them "Sirius said I should ask you about it, and that you weren’t doing anything important at the moment so…” LMAO love the chapter can't wait till the date! side-splitting author notes...hm...i think the bromcupboard is free...
