I know that it's been a LONG while since you questioned the utility of just having story alerts, over having author alerts, but here's WHY I only do story alerts... if I'm reading a Harry Potter story, considering that is what I'm into, then my thought process is, since most authors, the exception possibly being (vizeerlord?), usually not only work on multiple stories at a time, (vizeerlord has like 8 or more he's randomly working on currently, in his or her free time) but in multiple DIFFERENT story genres or pairings, especially a genre or pairing I hate, why would I want to have that story shoved in my face, when I can just skim the author's book list to find those that look interesting to me?

Seriously, I'm reading so many stories right now that I don't want some unknown story cluttering up my notifications, or else I'd be checking my notifications hundreds of times a day... believe me, I get enough of that with my YouTube recommendations when an electronics expo like CES comes up, for all my computer channels, that it isn't funny...

that whole thing you are doing with the team is just weird. doesn't make much sense.

Aight, look. Good story, great writing, good plot. What’s annoying me is the mesh of different things your shoving into one story. Things like the circle and whatnot don’t make much sense and seem like a play to a different genre which is an immediate turn away to me. Still, good story

one of the best stories i've read; great storytelling writing and plot, Your refinement of the magic and magical society is outstanding and Your hogwarts is the best there is, everything is simply amazing - very creative, brilliant and so intelligently written piece of work

that was a lot of info dump in the first chapter dont you think? but i digress good info and creativity in some of the houses and pureblood politics in a nutshell. given this was very early in writing pretty good tho im a bit turned off with the staff wand lol
