two years later I'm still here, re-reading this.

Always hoping that one day you will update this masterpiece of a story

I'm not sure you'll be here to see this considering you were last active 10 years ago and the fic itself is 10 years old as well, but anyway:

Great fic. Great concept. Your writing is phenomenal, and so are your portrayal of the characters, even the minor characters. Not many fics have that, so this fic is a definite gem. Everything feels natural and not forced, even YohHao's personality. It's a pity that it's not going to be continued. I'm not sure if you've read the manga, but you should if you haven't already. The storyline is much better, and Yoh and Hao are actually a lot more alike than you'd think from the anime alone. The ending is nice although somewhat cliched, but it's meaningful because it did Hao justice and solved the root of the problem, without turning him into some sort of saint or mush.

Have I mentioned how much I love this! Though, I do have confidence that if you ever do come back to this you could make it a HaoYoh. Someone already said this I think but have you read any Yu-Gi-Oh fics? Different but the situation could work if you're not sure where exactly to start. But I'm rambling, I just want more Hao and Spirit of Fire. There I said it. While Yoh is an ineresting character I always wanted to see what would happen if Hao won, became Shaman King and took his plans alittle differently. But sadly there isn't alot. Interested to see where exactly you go with this though.

Anyways. Love ur story!

Your works are quite enjoyable to read. They're well thought out and well written, staying true to the characters and feel of the original material. I love the way you've characterized Yoh and Hao as one, two personalities shifting within the one body, neither knowing which is in control, both leaking out all the same.

This chapter was especially intriguing. With Opacho's appearance there's plenty of potential for mayhem if the rest of Hao's followers get wind of his not-quite-dead status. Fortunately for Yoh it seems as if there is a bit of time before said group regathers, but having even this little one is already proving to be a challenge. Good thing Mikihisa was there for backup!

Again, I love your writing. Thanks for leaving these stories up; they're quite fun to read. :)
