great story, very well written. They seem very in charater, it was a fun read.
| krage chapter 5 . 7/23/2008
its very well written. One of the things i like most is the part where grissom is debating whether or not to stick his nose in or not. It was written so much in his charater that i was hearing his voice analysing the situation as you wrote it.
Very much in charater and a very interesting read so far.

I think that this story is great, but I have to tell you that you need someone to translate what you want to say in spanish, because is nearly impossible to read.
If you want some help with it, I dont mind doing it (im from Spain).

what a great ending. sorry i haven't reviewed the last couple of chapters but i was really busy. they were great though. i thoroughly enjoyed this story. it was really thought out, the charachters were portrayed in a really true way and the dialogue was natural and fun.
i really liked the last chapter, especially the last couple of lines between warrick and nick. they were just so sweet, something that sounded so normal but was really actually very personal and important.
an amazing story. keep it coming, don't keep us waiting to long. :)

Great ending to a great story. I really enjoyed it. Looking forward to your next one.
Congrats on your new niece. I will be an auntie to in the next few days. My B-day is on Monday so I'm hoping the baby will be born that day. She's already late she was due on the 9th.

I have to say that this one was your BEST story so far! You got me involved since the begining and at each chapter you amazingly filled my expectations. As you said, the sad part is that was the final chapter (where was the unfamous "The End"?) You're turning a brilliant fic author and one of my favorites, too.
Now you can take a break to enjoy the little baby girl, aunt. I wish her all the best for her life. And the same to you!
Thanks for sharing such good moments with us.
I'll patiently wait for news from you.

Aw, that was such a sweet little ending, and the rest was really well written as well. And yay for including the Pacers. I haven't really watched us this year though...but I digress. I liked your story a lot, and I really look forward to your next, as they get better and better each time.
Talk to ya later, I'm gonna go see Final Destination 3.

Nice finish, Sarah! I love the easy way the two friends talk and interact; Warrick his same old guilty self! and Nick the rock that won't let his best bud knock himself down with that guilt. Love Nick still kinda wobbly - poor guy. And a little bright note at the end to lighten things up. Nicely done!
You even managed to redeem yourself in my eyes by redeeming Cavaliere ... it ALMOST makes up for you calling him "squat"! :)
Loved the Brass-Cavaliere double team on the brothers, and the way you conveyed the discomfort and anxiety of the hospital setting.
And congrats on being an aunt! i have two nieces who i love as my own... there is no greater feeling in the world, short, i'm sure, of having your own.

First off, I gotta say I saw the pictures of your niece, and she is *adorable*. Babies are always cute...
Reading this, I couldn't help but feel sorry for Nick's parents. The only times they get to see him is when he's in trouble.
I loved the scene between Nick and Warrick. They have the most amazing relationship because they've been to hell and back together. They've been through it all.
This line was one of my favorites:
“Shit happens; you know that as well as I do. Sometimes you get thrown out the second floor window, but you get lucky and there’s a bush to break your fall. Sometimes you’re six feet under, but there’s always someone there to dig you back up.”
It fit so well, and it really explained life. I also enjoyed the talk about luck and how Warrick was so protective of his friend. Nick *has* been pretty damn lucky. I always call Nick the king of drama on CSI because all the big, dramatic, close-to-death scenes seem to happen with him. :)
Last two lines: Again, perfect.
:( I'm sad this is the end, but I know you'll come out with another story soon. I'll be looking forward to it!

Congratulations! It's fun being an auntie, you get to go play with them, rile them up, give them sugar and noisy toys then go home!
I get another nephew in June, we're very excited, this is my younger sister's first baby.
As for your story - it was very exciting all the way through, what I liked best was how you began the story. By starting right after the action took place, you drew us in immediately - we knew the guys were going to be shot and every chapter you spent catching us up to speed we were expecting the action. It was a good way to catch our attention and keep the exhilaration going...
Excellent work, I look forward to another story from you soon! ;p

I wish your Grissom was the man on the show. Atleast with your version, he's capable of showing and feeling extreme amounts of worry and concern.
Reallyed like the one two punch of Brass and Cavaliere on the two kids. I do not feel for Catherine, having to call Nick's family...yikes.
