This is so bloody brilliant! LOVED IT!

The canon training wheels, REHASH of JRK books had me skimming and I would have DROPPED this fic NOW, if not for the stone absorbing, a small HOPE we might FINALLY get something ORIGINAL and not keep rereading slightly altered canon crap.

I had wondered, was it Dumbles' blood wards, draining Harry, wondered about the hunger for the stone when Hagrid was picking it up.

So whether many chapters are needed or not, I'm giving 1 or 2 max, before quitting, if this keeps just following the canon paths so damn similarly.

Too much JKR canon detailed rehash and even quoting word for word, and LOTS of paraphrasing.

Poor diction in that magical book: "every spell is a combination of magical strength and force of will. The words were a trigger to help weaker wizards and witches focus their will. The more powerful the wizard, the less he had to focus, but the more power each spell took. 'It seems best to be both focused and powerful then.' 'duh'"

The "more powerful the wizard..." part I think could use a rephrase to be much more coherent, such as "A more powerful wizard can, by putting excessive amounts of power, or overpowering spells, can successfully cast a spell with less focus than would be needed if less power were used. "

Perhaps a remark about SOME spells do not function well when overpowered, so proper focus for even powerful wizards is a good habit to have. Or remarks that slightly overpowering a NEW spell being learned, a more powerful wizard has an advantage to cast a new spell being learned, sooner, then work on improving focus and proper technique while reducing the magic used to a reasonable normal level ... ecetera

First: "Kapow" wonderful. I can now skip cardio from laughing. I just imagine him walking around and making up spells with ridiculous release words like "kerplop" or "boing".
Second: didn't see that coming with the stone, but I am very intrigued.

I lost it here. This is absolutely and without doubt a masterpiece. Rarerly ever will you find a funny story with interesting plot on this site. Too many overused ideas or stupid ones when it comes to funny stories and if there are good stories, their ideas are copied so fast it's almost ridiculous.

But you, good sir, managed to do it like it's nothing difficult. A job well done.
